Hello to you all....
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work in fabric/sewing retail (I love my job). I enjoy sewing (since I was 10yrs old), Gothic fashion, art, music, yoga, and hanging out at a Starbuck's with a good book to read or chat with friends.
2. Where are you from?
Calgary, AB, Canada
3. Who is your favorite author?
Gaston Leroux and Susan Kay
4. What are your favorite films?
Matrix Trilogy, Blade Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Underworld 1&2, Interview with the Vampire&Queen of the Dammed, Resident Evil 1&2, Tomb Raider 1&2, Phantom of the Opera (all versions), and Phantom of the Paradise.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Don't know. Everytime I proposed, it's always "NO". But if it came to that, I think it would be "All I ask of you"
6. At your funeral?
Overture from Phantom of the Opera
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Quick and Painless.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black casket with Purple satin inside lining.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Pinstripe suits, cargo pants and Black shoes&boots. I wear mostly what I make anyways.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
living the 80's
11. What's your favorite band?
Kraftwerk, these guys are the godfathers of electronic music which evolved to many types music we today.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
College for Motorcycle tech. I wished I took up Fashion Studies or Psychology, but that might be a possibillty.
13. Why did you join?
Expanding and expressing myself to more Gothic communities. I like sharing my fashion/sewing knowledge and interest in the gothic lifestyle. I left one other group because it was all "emos" there, not my cup of tea, sorry. I think I will like it here more, hopefully I'll make friends here too.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.
Bonus Question: Marital Staus?
Single. LOL

Welcome to someone who read the sticky and takes the time to spell! I'm a clothing designer of sorts, except I work with safety pins, fabric paint, and iron-on paper. xD

Ooooo... creepy elegant person. You remind me of the 'Skinny Guy' in Charlie's Angels for some reason.
Welcome! Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay here on Gnet!

Thank you (tips the hat). Some people have told me that too, but I only I am bald (head shaved often) lol.
To me, Elegance is another way of showing respect, I guess. But "creepy"? hmmmmm.
I was quite surprised to see the replies. It actually makes me feel more welcome.
To Saddiction: I go pretty much go to alot of places depending on how I feel, since I work full-time so I try to go out and enjoy whenever.

I like you. You sound nice, and friendly, and you can spell!!! Major brownie points for taking the time to fill out the questions (without someone like maggot telling you to), use proper spelling (without being told to do so), and lastly, for being so complete in your answers. I like what your job sounds like...
Have fun here!

Funny you mentioned that, it's been a while since I went there. I should go there again soon.
I also stop over at The Warehouse once in while. Alot has changed there within the last 14 yrs. I do remember an awesome goth nightclub back in the mid 90's, but I can't seem to remember the name of the place, damn.

Next event is the 26th. It takes place on the last Thursday of every month. We're going to the Warehouse tonight, actually. It has definately changed over the years. I enjoyed it more in the late 90's. Not sure what club you are referring too from the mid 90's. I was too young then.

PS. Do you know Cory?
Ok kinda vague. He's tall and has hair that defies gravity. If so, perhaps we have run into eachother.

Kraftwerk ("bahn,bahn,bahn it's the Autobahn"),
Phantom of the Paradise (Paul Williams, yes? Old Souls still makes me cry)
and
Underworld for the win! I like your tastes. I went to Calgary back in the 90's, isn't there a river flowing through the middle of it, and a space needle building of some sort? I have also been to Regina and Edmonton, as well as the B.C./Vancover area many times.
Welcome to Gnet!

Most major cities have rivers flowing through them. We have a few different ones. The major one is the Bow River. As for the Space Needle-esq structure. Yes, it's the Calgary Tower formely known as the Husky tower.
Edmonton has a great scene. Far better than Calgary, I think. I also heard that Saskatoon has a pretty good scene. I guess I'll find out once my boy leaves for seminary. Vancouver is alright. I haven't spent much time there. I'm more familiar with Seattle.

Yes, it's the Bow River. I just love rollerblading or going for looooooong walks along the river pathway when the weather is nice enough.

Albeit I'm slightly annoyed that you had the gall to tell me who Kraftwerk is, like we wouldn't know who they are, I think I'm going to like you.
My dad has old records of Kraftwerk, maybe I'll dig some up tomorrow.
Autobaun is a great song.

To make it more interesting for you, look for Kraftwerk's latest 2cd set Minimum/Maximum. This is a live cd where the songs are revamped and believe me it sounds sooooo awesome. especially for the updated electronic music genere.

Well in that case, a big thank you for the compliment. I was told that "creepy" was a bad thing, but I guess that's a different point of view to them.

Nothing's wrong with being creepy...it's rather nice actually! The more I read about it, the cooler your job sounds. I'm jealous...
