Insulation tape!?

I've heard and saw cases where people have wrapped insulation tape around braided hair, attatched objects to their hair with it etc. I was just wondering has anyone tried using insulation tape in their hair and what were their experiences with it?

I'd imagine it would be hard to remove :S

Also, could anyone suggest how I might go about making my hair like this?

I'd imagine it's dreads but since I really don't know much about that subject it could just be loads of hair gel.

Thank you all :] X

I have never heard of this, but it sounds like a bad idea all the way around. Then again, what do I know?

I'm inclined to agree ... but perhaps if you wet your hair or maybe dust it with talc before applying the tape it mightn't stick to your hair? IDK >.<
