Jumping on the bandwagon...

...and making a new introduction, because my old one is a) finally not on the first page anymore which is somewhat depressing b) new introductions allow for new people to find said introductions and then I get to met more cool people and c) I just like introductions. So, here we go:

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

I love to read and to write; I've been reading since I can remember and writing for fun since about 1st grade so it's pretty much something I can't live without by this point. Also, I'm into drawing, although sometiems I'm easily frustrated with myself and I give up. Oh, and I'm usually hanging in RavenBlack City when I'm not doing homework out out somewhere, it's so addicting! As for a job, I'm only 14 so aside from things such as babysitting and random odd jobs, I can't really get a paying job anywhere

2. Where are you from?

Sunny southern California. It's not as great as it's made out to be, but maybe I only think that because I don't much like the sun. I like the fact that I can do things outside almost all year-round (unless El Nino decides to come in, then I'm not outside as much because knowing my luck I'd get washed away by a flash flood), but if it weren't so sunny I'd be happier with the weather.

3. Who is your favorite author?

I've got a lot. In the top few though I'd have to say Stephen King, Anne Rice, Chris Wooding, Charles Dickens, Libba Bray, Dean Koontz and J.K. Rowling.

4. What are your favorite films?

As above, there are a lot, but in the top however many: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, Get Over It!, V for Vendetta, Friday the 13th (it's cheesy compared to today's horror films, but I love it anyway), Suicide Club, Moulin Rouge, Urban Legend, and a lot of others I can't think of right now.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

Either "Alive With the Glory of Love" by Say Anything or "Come What May" from the Moulin Rogue soundtrack.

6. At your funeral?

"Together Again" by Janet Jackson. It's one of the songs that was played at my sisters funeral I remember that it made the occasion somewhat lighter because it has a more up-beat tempo. I wouldn't want my funeral to be a sad day; If there's anything I definately do not want, its to know that I've caused pain to my frends and family.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

As tragic as it'd be for my loved ones to live through, I'm kind of attached to the idea of drowning in my own blood.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

I wouldn't. I'd rather be cremated with half of my ashes spread near my sister's grave and the other half scattered around 6 Flags because I love it there.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

Hmmmm. A black flowy skirt, a little longer than knee-length, with a petticoat and a pair of white tights, a black spandexy long-sleeve shirt with this nifty peasant-type blouse I have (I love it, it has elbow-length pouffy sleeves, the top is almost like lace with small buttons and it ties in the back), an underbust corset over that, my white snap-wrist gloves and my Demonia shoes (Rocky 04). And, of course, my glasses which are brown oval-ish frames with golden rhinestones in the corners (Surprisingly, they're Juicy Couture, which is odd considering I really don't like anything else with that label, but these glasses work for me).

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

My sister, for one thing. I also miss the fact that school was easy and that the majority of my friends hadn't become drama queens and kings by that point yet.

11. What's your favorite band?

I've got a lot, but I especially love Queen, The Cure, Evanesence, Rilo Kiley, Say Anything, Lemon Demon, Rammstein, Muse, Fiona Apple, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, Metallica, Cheap Trick, Senses Fail, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, The Dropkick Murphys, Joe Jackson, Army of Freshmen, The Dresden Dolls, The Format, Houston Calls and Morrissey.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I'm a sophomore in high school.

13. Why did you join?

I was browsing here one day, and noticed that, shockingly, most people were actually literate.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

I'm a girl.

My new (and freaking long) introduction is now complete and I'm happy about it. Yay.

Woah! Are you seriously 14 years old?
I thought you were older than I. I don't know why, but it just seemed appropiate to think you were older than I.

I've noticed you around, 'cause I love your username. The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray was a pretty good book, in my opinion.

So, I guess I'll just use this chance to say: 'hello.'.

I loved that book (as if the username doesn't give it away)! Alaizabel was just one of those really cool characters, you know? I think if they were to make a movie from that book, it would be pretty good.
