I intend to do so. I will never ever have a credit card. Ever. They ruin lives IMO. It's spending money you don't have basically.

I intend on doing the same thing. Which is why I asked...it's weird; I've never fully supported myself financially, but I tend to get a feeling of disdain every time I see my parents take out their credit card for something that is not a necessity...

Then again, material posessions always are nice, but not at the risk of going into debt.

Well, I only use it for online orders. I order 99% of my books and music through amazon. And I needs mah books and music!

I only use it for ordering things online from abroad. Otherwise we got this system where you order your things and then pay when you pick them up at the postoffice, but that only works with orders from within my country.

Besides, I've made so that I can't use it for "credit". As soon as the account linked to it is empty, then you can't buy anything with it.

ATM's really love me, I visit them quite often.

...I decided this afternoon that I wanted to taste the rainbow, so I walked for a hour down to the convienience store and they didn't even have the skittles!
But when I got home I found some in the pantry :P

So what you have there Meth, is a debit card

I really need one of those quite badly. I need to set up a seperate account and start siphoning cash into it, for the sole purpose of storming Amazon and buying all the music I can get my mitts on. I am woefully behind on all music since finding cd's in shops here is nigh impossible.

Yep, the "low-end" Visa as I call it.

(it is a Visa after all actually, just without the credit.. way too dangerous for my economy.)

The last time I had that was a few years ago, when I had food poisoning. I ate a slice of pasta-pizza that had been out for a few hours. Long story short, I tried to keep the food down, but spoiled dairy products don't stay down. As soon as I reached the hallway of my apartment building, I threw up; ironically enough, I was one step away from the inside of said building. A few hours and a chicken-broth dinner later, I threw up yet again on my parents' bed. An unhappy ending for an unhappy camper...
