Yes, she eats them.

Reminds me of the time about five years ago when I was at my dad's and his German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross Zeus dragged one of my used pads out of the garbage can and shredded it all over the kitchen floor.

My dog does that. I swear she'll eat anything.

It was really embarassing, although it was only in front of my younger brother's friends.

I have always been intrigued by gothic culture, and things that surround it, being in school, I haven’t been able to find anything else about it, and clearly trying to be anything other than another one of their typical followers gets you isolated from everything. I don’t know that much about being a Goth, but from what I have come to learn over the last two years about it, I have adapted to a lot of it. I found this site this morning, and have read a lot of other peoples threads, and there are so many similar stories that I can relate to.
Just saying hi! If I’m in the wrong place, I’ll leave, I haven’t been able to make many friends with anyone in my area that have similar interests as me, especially my school “friends”, they don’t accept any of my beliefs, and I'm not forcing them to, I just keep to myself, but if I could talk to anyone, about anything... I'm here. =)

Of COURSE one does not have to wear black ALL of the time to be Goth. BUT if one goes more than 3 days without wearing at least some, they must turn in their official Goth Membership cards immediately, and pay a $50 dollar fine.

What if the reason you weren’t wearing black was because you weren’t wearing anything for three days?

Ooooh...... might be able to swim on a technicality. If written testimonials from the black clothes that would have been worn, or pictures are produced showing that no clothes were worn for the full three daysIt's either that or Edible's sniff test.
The choice is up to the individual, would hate to sound oppressive or anything.
... the pictures may actually gain bonus points, (per juried approval of course.)

Attitude
It's all in the attitude, not in the clothes.

Yeah, it's thanks to stupid stereotypes that society thinks goths always wear black and no other color.

Those who can actually wear black 24/7 are actually übergoth. When you can werk your attire into your workplace, then you have passed the level of normal gawth.

Re: Less Of a Goth?
STERN: I wear all black almost all the time & I'm not a "Uber-Goth". Uber-Goths are the ultimate fucking snobs & I have extreme zero tolerence for elitism in any form. Gothic, to me, is more than just a genre of music. Hell, it's more than an approach to fashion. It's more of a lifestyle. It's more about being attracted to things that the average person would consider creepy or too dark for their sensitive/conformist tatses. For a lot of folks who know Gothic only through negative mass media-inspired stereotypes, it's about being sad all the time. For me personally, there are times when I do get hella depressed, but I know that it's temporary. I can be down, but I don't stay down for long. As for whether someone wearing different colours making them less of a Gothic or not, it doesn't. It's how much satisfaction you get from the Gothic lifestyle, how much you enjoy/feel comfortable with it that determines if you are. In closing, only wannabes think that Gothic is strictly about clothing.
