I made crepes last night with my brother.
I tell you, nutella and peanut butter crepes are the best.

Raspberry-orange pancakes....
nutella crepes...
fresh hot soup...
Damn you! Damn you all! I have no money for nice things like food, the only reason I have orange juice is because I found a £1 coin on the street this morning! (seriously, university will bust my ass into debtors' hell if the damn student loan doesn't come through soon)
But I have orange juice. And once I work up enough strength to open it, I shall enjoy it. Just a pity I have weak wrists and thus difficulty with screw-caps.

Hey, I have a question that's somewhat important, but didn't want to make a thread, so here goes:
I'm going to a party tonight where there will be both beer and hard liquor.
I don't drink a lot, so my question is, does drinking beer before liquor actually make you sick? Is there a way to avoid this?
I plan to drink, but I want to drink smart, so advice is appreciated.

Mixing drinks doesn't make you sick, but can get you drunk faster. Stagger alcoholic drinks with non alcoholic drinks like soda or juice and you should be okay. Making sure you drink soft drinks between hard drinks helps to dilute the level of alcohol you're processing so that your body's not slammed with a lot of poison all at once. Also make sure to eat some heavy foods (fatty things, particularly) as fats and carbohydrate are also very good for soaking up alcohol. Don't try drinking on an empty stomach, you'll get pissed damn quickly and that can ruin a good night.
At least... it's how I drink when I'm out, and not once have I ever woken up without memory of what happened the night before, nor with a hangover, nor done anything I really regretted.
I've remembered the embarassing things other people have done, though, oh yes! *evil grin*

Not exactly a cocktail, but yummy and alcohol-based
In a blender, put-
-several scoops of vanilla ice cream
-swirl of chocolate sauce
-enough Baileys Irish Cream Liquer to float the ice cream
Buzz it till it looks smooth.
Presto! Cold, sweet, creamy, chocolatey and alcoholic.
White Russian (again, a creamy and sweet drink)
In a tall glass (not a pint glass, a narrow beaker)
-shot of vodka
-shot of Kahlua
-fill the rest with milk
Yummy.
Small shot-based drinks include the Baby Guinness (Half Kahlua, half Baileys, the Baileys floated on top to create a creamy head as on a pint of Guinness) and the Croc Pop, named after a popular British children's ice-cream lolly (half baileys, half creme de menthe- chocolate mint goodness)

I only ever drink yummy things (terrible sweet tooth, so you can be sure that I'll never recommend anything sharp, bitter or sour).

Lol, I was watching a movie last night and my dog, lying on her cushion like Little Miss Queen Bee, rolls over and gives me this look like "rub my tummy... NOW!". Clearly, I wasn't paying her enough attention.
I think all dogs love attention GothicChristian

I have three dogs, the one that was in my lap is so jealous. If I'm holding one of the other two, she'll come in and push them out of my arms and give me a look that clearly states, "No! You are my Jewel, no Ten-ten or Wah-wah for you!" It's funny that she's only like that with me and my dad though.

Aww that's adorable. I love how they pick favourites - my dad cheats and feeds her bacon though so she'll follow him to the ends of the earth in the hopes of food.

I couldn't help but giggle at that, I'm the only one who doesn't favor little Ten-ten, so she loves me for that and my dad is the only male in our house at the moment.

Oh, I favour Angel (we didn't name her) greatly and she gets the most cuddles from me. So I sit second only to Dad in her mind =D
Do you have any other pets?

Like I said, I heave three dogs, Chi-chi(named by my mother,) Ten-ten(named by my sister,) and Wah-wah/Pughuahua(named, accidentally, by me.)
I also have a "pet" spider that nobody knows about, he lives in my room. His name is Apollo.

You accidentally named your dog Wah-wah? I'm assuming this is when you were very young or something? They all have such cute names
I have a dog (Angel), a bunch of fish, a budgie, a chicken, some tadpoles and some new frogs. It's a regular menagerie around my house at the moment

My "knock you on your ass" cosmo recipe.. my mom likes them.. so much that she drank a pitcher full, then puked her guts out..
1 part Bacardi Limon
1 part Triple Sec
2 parts *Grey Goose* vodka
a splash to 1 part cranberry juice
I make these babies a lot.. I tend to go heavy on the alcohol, light on the juice..
