I'm just kidding. But you did say HMCS (Her Majesty's Canadian Ship?). Because in Australia, we only say HMS (Her Majesty's Ship). I never heard of an HMAS. But then again we don't have a RAF, but a RAAF (Royal Australian Airforce.
And why should I care? I dunno, but I never lost a trivial pursuit game.

Yup, that was on exercises. We did a 12-hour nuclear transit (simulates passing through an area contaminated with nuclear fallout), and I was one of the door sentries. This is about hour four, when the novelty has worn off.

Weird, because I've heard HMAS used, and by Aussie sailors, too. It certainly says "HMAS" on the cap tally I, um, acquired when I did an exchange to HMAS Hobart some years ago.
On the other hand, for a while HMC Ships were called CAF, for a blessedly short period of time after the Canadian military was 'unified' back in 1968. We're still dealing with the repercussions of that particularly ill-advised experiment...

Yeah Me too. Grr Fluff! Now I am just mad. Not only is my posting not working but my husband just called me!! Subposedly he cannot go to the concert with me because his Team lead says that if he takes another absence that he will lose his job! he only has 7 absences! I have 8! WTF is that!
