Back to the Lakota Indian seceding plan. I always thought that most Indian reservations were close to being their own country's in the first place, just protected by the rest of the U.S. They don't pay federal taxes, they have there own laws, they even have more rights then normal citizens out side the reservations in whatever state they may be in. Examples being gambling and eagle feathers. They piratically Govern themselve already.
They aren't the ones who broke the treaties in the first place, they'll just finally getting the guts to say, "why should I hold on to my part of the deal, if you won't do your part." It's also sad to hear that we Americans have a third world country right in our back yard. In fact it's right in my back yard, In my state the Navajo nation is at the south-west corner and the Lakota Nation to the north-west corner. So close and yet unnoticed that they live in poverty.
Oh, and sometimes when people think of Native Americans, they general assume the Aztecs or Mayans or whoever else are Native American, since they were all natives to the north, central, and south Americas. But in all respect they all pretty much got fucked by the European invaders.
