Look on deathrock.com
They have a fairly extensive thread dedicated to the construction of hawks.

What I really like about mohawks is the versatility of the cut. You can still leave your hair parted and down, to appear just like the hair in the picture. Also, if you comb it over, it's a very dramatic look.
Slick it back, it can look a whole lot like an undershave ponytail.
There's really just a shit load of stuff you can do with the cut itself.

Is it safe to dye whilst pregnant? If so, which dye would be "safest"?

Honestly, I really wouldn't try it, unless you're using something like Manic Panic, because I'm pretty sure that's completely vegetable based.
Hair colour is not as important as the safety of your baby, so just wait it out.

Most hair dye shouldn't cause any problems as long as there in no bleaching agent but if you are worried about it then use a veggie based dye

Okay, all my pictures aren't very recent (last summer to be exact) so my hair's slightly past my shoulders now. However, I'm getting tired of my hair being bland. I really want a Deathhawk, and have been asking all my friends, doublechecked with work and everything, so I'm in the clear. Just wanted to get people's opinions on here. Honest opinions please. Do you think with my facial structure, eyes, and piercings, I'd look good with a Deathhawk? I don't have a good picture of my piercings, unfortunately. I have 3 lobe, 2 helix, daith, and rook on the left, and an industrial, a rook, a lobe, and a snug on my right.
My myspace url is severininfurs.

SeverinInFurs - Yeah you'd look good with one. Do it. And I'd also change your hair colour to something less natural looking. Naturally coloured deathhawks are irksome.

Haha, that was going to be my order of business. Black is what I'm going with, and even though it's a bit cliche, that's the main one I can get away with at work. I'm getting the haircut saturday, and probably getting the colouring done either at the same time, or within the next few weeks (I'm going to Cali for a week the 22nd, and want to get it done before then)

So basically my hair's been so long without a dye that it's an orangey-blonde and I can't let this happen. I'm thinking of doing something different, but I've been dying my hair red for so many years that it'd be weird to pick something else. Maybe I can ease into something different. The last dye I threw black on the underside of the cut and that was nice, but I dunno if I want to go a dark red next time or a fire engine fake Ariel red. I also usually put blonde on the sides so it makes stripes when I wear my hair up. Dunno if I should continue this.
I hate hair.

I just got several inches cut off. I miss it dearly already, but my hair needed it desperately. Too much damaged at the ends.

Can someone help me pick a hair cut? Its getting warmer now and I hate hate hate having longer hair when its warm, I have oily hair and no matter how much I wash it always feels greasy a lot of the time. It doesn't happen when I have short hair, but this year I'm not sure what to do with it. Last August I went with a short bob but didn't like it much, been thinking about getting bangs, too. I'm sorta leaning towards a short cut like Solumina's, but everyone tells me "don't cut your hair! You'll look like a boy! You have glasses, you'll look like Harry Potter!" So I'm not sure if going that short is a great idea.
Here's a pic of what its like now, sorry about the bad quality. And the dopey expression, its late and I'm tired:

I want to get my hair cut, like badly, it needs a big do-over and I'm looking for help, it's wavy on the side of kind of curly, goes down to about my nipples when straightened and I usually wear it in a ponytail like this:
(It's nasty feeling/looking in that one, my hair washing cycle has been thrown off lately :X, the hair tie is only wrapped four times, I usually pull it tighter with five)

And this is my face! (hair all shower brushed and curly too)

Any suggestions? I'm open to any and all ideas whether it be chopping, bleaching/colouring, growing longer, straightening etc.

Wow, sorry to turn the convo away but that's totally not what I thought you looked like, Corpsey.
Anyway, I think you should cut it short. Like only a few inches long. Then again, I'm biased and I like short hair on guys.

I'm going to do a mohawk this summer, but until then, I just shave my head skinhead style.
