< is quite bored and is feeling a bit under the weather. < would very much like an interesting DVD to watch and is thinking about watching Dead Like Me as <'s roommate is awesome and has many fantastic tv shows on DVD.
Does V live with any awesome people?

< is also working her ass off this summer, then working her ass off again after going back to school.
< thinks that at least I'll be the rare chinese person in the midst of all the rich white folks.

<'s Summer has been rather boring and a bit frustrating. < has been trying to get a job for over a month with no luck. Apparently dealing with constituents does not count as customer service experience (even though constituents are essentially overly entitled customers) *blarg*
On a happier note < still loves <'s apartment and is happy to be away from <'s old, sucky roommate.

< waves hello to ^. The weather here is a bit humid but not too bad.

< and <'s boyfriend had a coupon for a free movie rental and rented Cloverfield. < and <'s boyfriend were unsatisfied with it and wished that there was more of a back story, it seemed quite unfinished and the storyline was a bit underdeveloped.

What are v's plans for this weekend?

V likes to cook, but ^ mostly lives on take out. Needless to say, <, who taught ^ how to cook, is dissapointed.

<'s husband made some awesome fried rice to go with the eggrolls < made.
< is very proud of her husband, who actually ate microwaved peanut butter sandwiched when they met. He also thought that hotdogs could ONLY be cooked in the microwave.

< loves to make desserts of any kind but would say that cheesecake is <'s specialty, although < does not have a spring form tin at school so < can only make cheesecake at home.
< had never heard of microwaving peanut butter sandwiches and is kind of terrified of the fact that someone invented them.

< loves jam tarts. A little something that < likes to do is under cook them a little and then finish them off in the toaster oven so that < can have nice fresh tarts in the morning.
