Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Stop listening to your poser shit, and then maybe you can talk. Deathcore is an abomination, they watered down Grindcore so they could sell the shit to posers like you at Hot Topic, what a bullshit genre of music to listen to. But then again, I don't expect you to know what Grindcore is, because you just listen to the bands you read about in Revolver.

See You Next Tuesday is not even close to Grind, it's Deathcore.

Hey, you two metalheads... beat it. This is a goth rock forum.
No offense, I might even talk shit about you if you were babbling on and on about Drop Dead Magazine as well.

Hey now, you posted Dead Milkmen as "Required Listening", so by extension this can't be PURELY a goth rock forum.

That song is perfectly acceptable here.
I'm just quite weary of metalheads. They're by lack of fault, quite intrusive to goth circles. Poor guys seem to have a hard time telling the difference. Then again, I'm kind of a goth apologist and hold the subculture in a bit of a contempt as of late.
Plus, I can't stand metal and it seems to be the new hot topic in this musical forum and so now, I'm getting excluded. I've got to pump this forum up with at least some punk and deathrock to keep even more misguided metalheads at bay.
Yes, I know it's all trivial bullshit in the end.

I like metal, goth/deathrock, and the dreaded harsh EBM. What do you think of that.

I've had an EBM overdose for like the last 3 years, I've gone back to power electronics, really harsh industrial and just plain noise for my electronic music fix these days.

Oh and some really dark ambient/ritual stuff that my buddy gives me. It's interesting music to fall asleep to, makes for some interesting dreams from my experience.

I like it, I'm kinda skipping around listening to bits and pieces of each song because I need to get to bed soon, but I like what I hear.
I've got you bookmarked though, so I'll listen to it some more, and probably add you if I remember.
