The Return Of The Living Dead

I'm about to watch this movie. It's about a group of punk teens who end up releasing this gas at a medical facility in Louisville KY.

What's good about it so far is the respectable soundtrack.

Discuss if you've seen it or not.

...This totally explains all those zombie walks in Louisville now.

It's one of my favourite zombie films ever. With 45 Grave on the soundtrack and zombies walking around with mohawks you really can't go wrong. Plus there's the best display of pointless nudity I've ever seen in even the trashiest of 80's horror movies. It's also home to the wonderfully classic zombie lines like "Send more paramedics!" and "Need more brains!".

So yeah, it's good.

Fucking great movie with an awesome soundtrack. Definately one of my favourite zombie movies. That and REC, which I highly reccomend

U know what,these zombies keep evolving each times there is a new one released

First, Zombies were like slowly walk toward u and if he bite u, u'll have to die to become one of them

And then living guy can turn into a zombie after bitten for an hour

And then Zombies r not walking around anymore
They screaming,roaring and run like hell to u...

AND THEN,according to Land of the dead,Zombies can think

And in I am legend,Zombie r more like vampire and can think...
and..oh they seem a bit stronger than common human..

now what, oh yes! of course, zombie will running along the wall and leap 8 meters-long in a second just to bite ur head off

well,why zombies getting stronger but vampires just adapted theirselves to the technology like..i can use gun,u know?

I Am Legend is adapted from a novel that predates all zombie films, and its antagonists are technically vampires, not zombies.

from what i know theyre not vampires* or zombies,they're humans that have caught a horrible virus** that in short, makes then rabid with an allergy to sunlight.besides they dont drink blood.

Bought it a few weeks ago and It's one of my favourite movies!
The soundtrack is IMMENSE.

It's been quite some time since I've read the book, but I was under the impression the virus reacted in a special way to fresh blood, meaning that they desired it but it wasn't necessary.

I should check out that book (I haven't seen I Am Legend but I loved The Last Man On Earth). I agree with $hade, a zombie movie never scared me at all until I saw 28 Days Later, and they started running and screaming.

The most recent zombie movie I saw was Day Of the Dead. Why was it called Day of the Dead if it takes place mostly at night?

Even to one who ignores the fact that they're referred to as vampires repeatedly, the creatures in I Am Legend are clearly of that nature. They have every classical vampire weakness, even religious symbols repel them.
