I just read Nineteen Eighty-Four and it was excellent, as was the Picture of Dorian Gray before that. I also read Equus, which was an interesting if odd play.
I'm currently reading Animal Farm, which has been good so far.

Just got and started reading 'Yes Means Yes: Visions Of Female Sexual Power and a World Without R@pe' an anthology edited by Jessica Valenti and Jaclyn Friedman. Still reading LOTR too, but I remember it better than I thought I did so I feel like I'm just skimming through some parts.
Also got VegNews magazine ^_^

Star Wars: New Jedi Order: Force Heretic III: Reunion.
I'll be glad to be finished with this series, then I can get started on the Dresden Files.

Didn't Athena say men were superior to women or something? I vaguely remember her being chauvinistic. A lot of them were, really.

"The Free Negress Elisabeth"
Interesting to read that in the seventeenth century a black woman could be so rich and yet be refused to marry because she's considered an animal.

Sooo Yes Means Yes was awesome, I probably said that somewhere else but I just wanted to repeat that, highly recommended.
I picked up David Suzuki's Green Guide. So far I learned that while my carbon footprint is a lot smaller than the average Canadian's, if everyone had my lifestyle we would require two and a half planets like Earth to sustain everyone. Maybe I should start turning my computer off when I'm not using it >.>

The Price of Admiralty, A History of Naval Warfare - John Keegan
It's fascinating to watch the development of ships of war and how design and stragety take turns pushing each other in new directions, but ultimately the whole thing leaves me depressed for the human race.

Curious case of the dog in the night-time. by Mark Haddon.
I hate this book. It's one of the mos depressing I've ever read. I'm going to force myself the way through because I don't like leaving books unfinished.

Those were fun! If you can find copies you should check out Under The Glass Moon, unfortunately the third issue was never released but the first two are great.
I just started Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil.

Dunno if I've said it but still reading The Gone Away World by Nick Harkaway. It's probably one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure to read.
