Oh EPS, I also meant to ask you if you know much about Melatonin. I've looked a bit, but I thought I'd see if anyone has any experience with it. It's supposed to be a healthy sleeping aid. My mom picked it up for me, and to anyone else who might know about it. I'm open to anything. I just want to satisfy my parents' wants of me sleeping at night time more, and not only getting 2-3 hours of sleep. I mean they have put up with it for 7 years. I should probably try a little harder to improve my problem and I don't want it just for them, I do want it for myself as well.

OKay this leads me to my second problem then guys.. I need an online course because making it to class is damn near impossible with my work schedule. I swear I feel like I am stuck under a financial vs. convenience rock at the moment.

I have taken quite a few online classes. They do require a bit more discipline, but as long as you pick classes that aren't going to toally bust your balls, the flexibility they offer is very nice.
It really depends on what you are going to take. Most Community Colleges and Universities offer a variety of online classes.
Ask Xng for info on the colleges in your area. She has some good information.
Mr. Penguin..
Yes, I have taken Melatonin. I wouldn't reccommend something to you guys that I had not first tried myself. It is gentle and easy on your system. Or at least it was on mine. I found that if I took it about an hour before I was ready to sleep, after a long hot bath, it worked best.
Also try and avoid caffeinated products altogether, but especially during the evening hours. They don't jive well with the Melatonin.
In addition, try and get your room as dark as possible. Our bodies are genetically predisposed to entering a sleeping state, during nighttime hours. The darker your room, the deeper your sleep will become.
Last but not least, try some Chamomille Tea with the Melatonin. Chamomille is naturally relaxing, and the two together were very helpful for me..
Let me know how it works out for you..
Here's hoping you can get a good nights sleep.

Well it said to take it 20 minutes before sleep. I took it around 10:28 and went to bed around 11:00. I did fall asleep faster than normal. I ended up going unconcious around midnight-ish. As much as I was happy to sleep longer than usual. I woke up around 1:30 with a slight headache. Got to bed again around 3:00 and woke up at approximately 5:30. =shrugs= I'm guessing a lot of it's because I don't think I'll sleep well. I just need to get used to the stuff and allow myself the ability to sleep.
Thanks for the tips I'll try them as well.

All those are cool names. If I had to pick one, it would be André. Sounds like a name for a badass dog, plus it reminds me of both the guy from OutKast and Dr. Dre.

I dig Aesop the best.
Or Lunch.
Think about how cool that would be;
"C'mere Lunch.. Sit Lunch!! Roll Over Lunch!! Does Lunch have Kisses for Mommy?"
Uhh.
Wot?!

there was a comedian once who sang a song about his dog named "stains". something about the command - "come stains" - struck a funny chord.
i've been down in the dumps recently and quite honestly, that's not like me. i've lost my drive to get up and go. i get out of bed and quickly, within an hour or so, want to crawl back in. i'm not used to this. i don't like it.
on another note, i'm also sick so i'm not sure if this is a behavioral thing or a physical one. i've tried using the gym to break some of the doldrums but it's not really working. the only thing it is doing is keeping my body from turning into a sack of flab while i spend my days in bed.
i think i need sunshine...

Here's a random thought for you... I hate Clubhouses and Shish Kabobs.
Thankyou.
