Watching the new Halloween movie. It has not disappointed so far. Some good blood and guts. Impressive. I love gore movies, and watching the little Michael take a baseball bat to his sister's boyfriend is.... brilliantly disturbing.

I liked it, but held it in a different esteem than the original. Much like how "Hannibal Rising" was a decent movie that gave a back-story to *how* Hannibal happened, the new Halloween gives a back-story to how Michael happened... and frankly, i think it's scarier without the motive.
Still a solid way to spend 2 hours.

If it wasn't halfway across the country, I'd be there. I haven't seen it. Now you have piqued my curiosity. It looks really, really good. On another note, remember when Unholy used to get advertised on the sidebar here? I picked that up shortly thereafter. Kind of an interesting film, but I never could really get into it. Almost a little too campy for me.

I would suggest buying it if it didn't cost like, $30 everywhere. The sequels (Mordum and Penance) are always cheaper. Howeverrr, I still don't feel like spending money on things like that. Torrents = win.
Have you seen Cannibal Holocaust? It's not particularly gore-tastic, but it's got a pretty interesting storyline, and there are some nice r.ape scenes. =P
I don't pay much attention to the sidebars, so I don't know what Unholy is.
* Now I do. It doesn't look too thrilling to me.

I thought it was going to be much, much more gory than it was. Cannibal Holocaust, eh? Is that the prequel *for lack of a better term* to the series? If we were not all scattered by hundreds or thousands of miles, we would need to have a gory movie night. I don't really have anybody around here into those kind of movies. Alot of my friends seem to be into things like The Grudge, The Ring, movies like that. I can't stand them. They freak the everloving h.ell out of me. I can handle gore, that croaking sound is toooooo much for this kid.

Well, the only things Cannibal Holocaust is associated with, I believe, are CH 2 and CH 3. Pretty convenient.
Can you get to Ohio next weekend? =P There's a horror movie expo (Cinema Wasteland) that I plan on going to. It won't be things QUITE as spectacular as August Underground, Cannibal Holocaust, etc., but it'll be a gay ol' time.

Hmmmmm. Let's see. I need more of a reason to drive to Ohio than a movie fest. I will not deny that it would be amazingly cool, but that is a long, long, long way away.

Bwaaaahaaaahaaaaa. Sorry, that made me laugh. Not at you, it just struck me as mildly amusing. I'm actually talking with another person from here about maybe doing a cross country road trip. You have no idea how little it takes for me to jump in the Jeep and go cross country. Maybe throw the rack and my kayak and bike on the roof, and go to the east coast for a bit. I'd already almost be over there! Kinda, sorta, not really, but alot closer than I am right now.

Ooh. Bike to Ohio. That'd be fun. Start now and you'll get there by Friday.

Maybe I would be there. Or, I would have a heart attack. One or the other. I've been riding almost every day, but I'm not that fit.

What I'm doing right now...not much, mainly just listening to music and staring at my ceiling, trying to figure out where or what the hell I'm doing right now.

At the moment I`m watching the `Fast Show` (cult British TV sketch show that was very popular in the `90s, and it was brilliant) !!!.

Learning how to play the intro to Who I am hates who I've been. The song is eh... but the intro is awesome. It's like Beverly Hills 90210, the show sucks, but the chicks and intro make it okay.
