Those are awesome. That green paint on the jacket has come out really well. Your picture doesn't do them credit but the badges are sweet too. Mine arrived yesterday, thanks very much I see Rozz and Scary Bitches in anycase.
And it might just be the perspective is messed up, but that bat on the wall in the second pic looks HUGE :| the one's here are so small I could probably fit 3 on my hand.

You need to come HERE and show these girls how to dress

Why thank you. As I think I've said before on this forum I do put quite a bit of effort and thought into my style and it's cool when people appreciate it =].

Yay, the pins arrived! I'm glad you like them, and that they arrived safely. I made the ones on my jacket in the same batch as yours, and had a bit of a panic moment thinking I'd mixed them up after I sent your package, haha.
And that's old Monty in the background. He's only a nectar bat and his body is such that I'd probably fit about two of him in one hand, so I think it's just a trick of perspective there making him look huge. He's originally from Indonesia though, and I think our Australian fruit bats are quite a bit larger.

I've found use for small fragile skulls as hair ornaments by gluing or strategically tying bobby pins to them. They can look cool sticking out of teased hair, though it depends on your hairstyle and the size of the skull. If it's small enough a necklace might work.
|
It's a fairly large skull.
I'm not all to sure if it's actually a rabbit but that's what I've been told.
I get most of my bones/skulls from my mum's friends.
I tried making an earring out of a pigeon bone recently but it was to fragile and snapped.
I'm getting a new leather jacket and I'm tempted by the idea of using bones on it.
Have no idea how though.
Also it's good to know that people put effort into how they look.

That's really good Xombie. Looks like something from a stop-motion animation.

Nope, you sent the right ones They're on my jacket now, including the Batcave Benders one, I figured that was supposed to be in there for free?
Ah right, yeh we don't get nectar bats here, I was really obcessed with bats when I little. Joined the conservation trust and stuff ha. Fruit bats are massive, only seen them in a zoo though. Monty's cool.

Yeah, we throw Batcave Benders badges in most online orders. We figured we might as well make use of that perfectly circular logo.
You would have loved some of the caves my mother dragged me into when I was little... bats EVERYWHERE. They're lovely creatures until you find yourself crawling through an inch thick layer of their poo in a small enclosed space, haha.

^ AWESOME!
@ Raptor: thanks.. it took a great deal of patience to get all the lyrics on there.
@ Cicero: I recognize that bat! From the picture of you and Bat Brains going RAWR! with the bat in the background. I love that pic.
I want to order some pins.. about how much would the shipping cost for a US order?

Haha, Monty likes being in photos. He's a very photogenic bat.
And Batcave Benders international shipping and packaging is AU$6, which with the current exchange rate is about US$4. Yay for the shitty Australian economy!

Been working on a Diary of Dreams Nekrolog 43 logo Stencil, it's still WIP but I'll probably finish it soon:

I wish I had photoshop though, I'm using some crappy free ware program that is not nearly as good.

Well I finished the idea, it might need a bit of repositioning of text though:

What do you think?

Girlfriend's birthday on Sunday and I'm seeing her tomorrow.
So I quickly knocked up this out of that skull I mentioned earlier in the thread.
I've bleached/varnished the skull so it's fairly white/shiny.

Ignore the hilarious mannequin?
I need to get a gift bag and some nice tissue paper type stuff to wrap it in tomorrow before I meet up with her.
Thoughts on it?

I'm willing to bet Cicero would like that.

Tah man.
I hate the fact her Birthday's right after Christmas.
People should plan pregnancies better.
Korinna - Yeah it is, they're made from feathers we got them from an craft shop.
I believe it was Cicero's hairpiece that inspired me.
And a conversation we had previously in this thread.
Anyway I am off.
Night Gnet.

I love the skull headband, did the rabbit give consent?
Did you just use ordinary household bleach to clean it up?
