..Hello.
I'm not the the creative writing type, so I'll just go with the nice questions provided by the sticky.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Where do I start umm... I am a WoW geek. Yes, laugh all you want, I don;t care. It's satisfying and makes me happy. =]
I used to do karate. I got my black belt then decided I needed to focus on other things that were a tad bit more important (School, work, etc..).
I love computers, every last piece of code and random component that goes into them. Some say I have a gift with them; because I don't really have to try hard, I just do.
I', currently in-between jobs, waiting for a call from Future Shop, hopefully they come through. That's really my one dream job before I get into/finish university.
2. Where are you from?
I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. For those who don't know, thats in the big-ass country of Canada. Where we all live in igloos and eat caribou for breakfast. (/sarcasm) Lol, yea well.. My neighborhood is anti-goth. So life kind-of sucks at the moment. Other than that it's quite the city, the goth scene is huge downtown and close by in Montreal so I have no problem having a good time going out.
3. Who is your favorite author?
I'm not much of a reader, but I do enjoy J.K. Rowling (Harry potter is cool <3), and some of Edgar Allan Poe's poems.
4. What are your favorite films?
Again, I'm not much of a movie person either. but my top two movies have to be Saw 1 and (get ready) Star Wars, only the new ones though.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Depends, do I want to have a wedding? Or do I just want a life partner. I don't even know so I'm not going to start thinking of m usic to play at this potential wedding.
6. At your funeral?
Lucifer's Angel - The Rasmus
This is my favorite song, and I want it to be the last one to touch my body before I go 6 feet under, and my ears are taken over by maggots.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I have two fantasies of how I would like to die. One: I want to drown. Apparently the last few minutes are similar to being inside your mothers womb; an ultimate comfort. Two: A natural death, with my loved ones by my side to hear my last words. The sort of thing you would see in a movie.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
An casket made of cherry wood, my favorite tree. Engraved on the top my name, plain and simple. It must be stained black.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I prefer just a simple pair of black pants and a band shirt I pick up off my floor. I don't really care what I wear as long as /I/ think it looks good.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I love the innocence I once had; being able to do something wrong and get away with it just like that. I miss not knowing true fear, depression, regret and hardships. Being content and not wondering "why?"
11. What's your favorite band?
The Rasmus. They are without a doubt the band that I love the most. Although, the 69 Eyes come in a close second.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Right now, I have a grade 12 (high school) education. Next year I'm off to university to major in computer sciences or engineering(not sure yet lol).
13. Why did you join?
A friend told me about it, so I decided to give it a try.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.

Welcome to the boards!!!
I personally am a complete computer retard... well not completely... lol.
You like The Rasmus??? Interesting. I've heard of some of their songs including Lucifer's Angel.
I think that you may need to take a look into the Music section of the boards. Just a suggestion. For you I would suggest Sisters of Mercy.

Hello there! Welcome to g-net. Just a curiosity - do you like any traditional goth bands?
I like only the old Star Wars.

A computer Geek! My favourite candy! X)))) *sings a Morrisey song to celebrate the big event ... ahem!*
If I were you I would study computer sciences , is more open than engineering and you will not die of boredom when you start to work .
I'm wondering if you are a fan of the C64 or Spectrum ...
Wellcome aboard :-*

The Rasmus? Interesting. My favourite song by them is 'Hide from the sun'. And I love the guitar-solo-bit in 'Immortal'.
Why don't you like the old Star Wars movies? They are magnificent and a million times better than the new trilogy!

You need to see the original trilogy. Sure the special effects on the new ones are great but any movie can have special effects on that kind of scale. But no one can match the original trilogy for things like the monolithic walkers.

That you do! I agree that you should also go to the music section, if just for a gander. You'll prolly find a band or two that you like. I would personally recommend: Christian Death
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Blutengel
London After Midnight
Specimen
Welcome to G-net Paul!
