Hope I'm not the oldest one here!
Hey! I'm Lori, 27, currently a CPhT, live in IL about 2 hours outside of Chicago. Just found this place online while was searching for some new threads....so yeah. I am bored. It's Friday night. no clubs or bars around here worth going to. Hmm, maybe i'll get some take out-chinese or pizza?

Hi there. Take out Chinese can be horrible at times, it's best if you know the place you order from. Pizza is always the best bet for me.

We have a grandfather on here. Believe me, you are far from the oldest. Even if you are nearly ten years older than me...
I hope you went with the Chinese, because that Chicago style pizza is rubbish.

I am 3 years shy of twice your age.
And even I am not the oldest who has ever joined. I am just the oldest who posts fairly often.
I am surprised to hear you are bored, there is a lot to do around the Chicago suburbs besides restaurants. I fly there frequently. Love Italian beef sandwiches!
And you can always make a weekend out of it: book a room in downtown on Michigan Ave., so you can walk to the Museum of Art, play chess on the sidewalk or listen to amateur musicians.
But if you are 2 hours South of Chicago, you have my sympathy. Not a lot going on down there. To the West and East yeah, but not much elsewhere.

Only recently joined myself, so thought I would say hi! And reassure you that you're not the oldest one here...I thought I would be at 37 and have been pleasantly surprised that I'm not :-) Look forward to getting to know you.
