Heylo.
Hey! My name is Kellatrix. I'm never really sure what to put in these intro threads... I like movies (my favorite actress is Helena Bonham Carter), books, music (I don't listen to much goth really, though... mostly classical and metal...), being with my friends, talking to my long-distance girlfriend, taking photographs, writing (both fanfiction and original stories... and poetry), drawing (badly), roleplaying, and... doing other stuff. Lately, I'm completely obsessed with Sweeney Todd. So... I dunno, I just wanted a forum that I wouldn't eventually grow out of. Hope this is the one!

Seems like we will get along.  Perhaps you could list a few favourite bands?

Hey Kellatrix! Welcome to the board! I, too, love Helena. She's an amazing actress, I thought she was excellent in Sweeney Todd. How far away does your girlfriend live I was in a long distance relationship for over a year, it ended recently, and my boyfriend lived 1007 miles away. Not fun. But, you make it work for as long as you can. Good luck with yours! Once again, welcome!

But I mostly listen to soundtracks and classical, in particular Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, and several movie or theater soundtracks (Sweeney Todd, Wicked, RENT, Lord of the Rings) as well as anything by Danny Elfman (which includes pretty much any Tim Burton soundtrack).

Welcome my dear. I too write fanfiction and other genres (Gothic Romance on occasion, you can search "Find all threads started by HumanePain" in my profile).
On FanFiction dot net I have written 35,000 words worth of chapters on Danny Phantom. Private message me when you reach the privilege level to do so and I will answer back with links to my stories, and I hope you will send me back your stories as well. Meanwhile, I hope to read your non-fanfiction material in the Literature forum here on this site.
As for your music tastes, since you like soundtracks, I think you should give a listen to the "Massive Steampunk download" anthology posted by Kontan in the Music forum, most delightful and stimulating to the imagination!
I hope you find it enjoyable here.
