Is this comment a deliberate attempt to prove the point about the standard of posts?
XXChristabelXX was referring to "grammar Nazis". Not Nazis. Please see the explanation from the Oxford English Dictionary listed below (I have highlighted the relevant definition):
• noun (pl. Nazis) 1 historical a member of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. 2 derogatory a person with extreme racist or authoritarian views.

More like live by the sword, get pistol-whipped by reality.
And gassing Jews? Are you that obtuse, that stupid, or that inept at humor?

If by 'has an interesting and dry sense of humor' you mean 'spent an afternoon on Encyclopedia Dramatica and decided she was an epic lulz /b/tard'.

The thought crossed my mind that it might be an attempt at humour, but unfortunately, if it was it was rather crass.

I'd rather die by the pen, since the pen is mightier than the sword. Which means it's a worthier opponent.

Oh dear, I seemed to have missed that "by," one mistake out of many a post; but, "boons" was intentional. It is my word; I use it when I cannot think of a good description.
boons- Noun /originally spelled "b00ns"/ The plural form of the word "boon;" Megan's fusion of a n00b and a baboon, seeing as how they are, generally the same thing.

Actually, "boon" is already a word, meaning benefit or favor.

It's a homonym; there are a few of those, you know.
I knew that there was a word that was spelled the same; I saw it once while skimming through the dictionary.
A word can mean more than one thing, dear.
I hope I'm not seeming rude or angry, I'm not. I actually laughed about my little "my" is equal to "by" slip up. Those don't happen very often; I was rush typing yesterday and so it was inevitable that I would make an error. I extend my apologies for the typographical error, but it happens to the best of us.
(Honestly though, is it not ridiculous to have an average of twelve, or so, per post?)

GothicChristian:
1. If you stop using "dear," you'll sound less condescending, sweety.
2. Inventing new meanings to words that already exist is not conducive to clarity. All it does is make you look like an ignorant ass who is trying to sound impressive.

I call every one dear, unless I don't like them, hun. I used to call everyone hun, and I guess I could go back to that. I can't help the compulsion, it's far too great to use, what I think of as, terms of endearment. If you knew me in real life, you'd know that it's impossible for me to sound condescending.
Also, at the time that I made the friggen meaning I didn't know that it was already I word. I've been using it for a few years now. You couldn't, possibly, have expected that I knew every word in the English language at the age of eleven. Surely, if I did, I'd remember more than the fraction that I do now.
Honestly, you people just assume that people are trying to sound one way when ;
A. Typed out words cannot tell you how someone is trying to sound, and
B. You know absolutely nothing at all about said person.
Honestly, I think I'm going to go through some trouble and type exactly how the words are meant to sound .
(I'm somewhat irate here, if you were wondering.)
