There needs to be a "Come post your inane whining about your alienation, your depression, your suicidal tendencies and your low self-esteem so we can cruelly ridicule you" thread. Then the people might have an obvious, in-their-face clue that posting their mental health concerns on a gothic website is unlikely to get them a helpful response.
But the reason they get ridiculed is because if they are smart enough to navigate here they should have been able to figure that out on their own.
