These are my 3 favorite pairs of boots; Zak wedge boots from pennangalan, spiderweb print Underground steel toe boots, and Underground Barb boots. The Zak boots are the most comfortable boots EVER, I could probably walk miles in them and still be perfectly comfortable. I love Pennangalan's heeled boots, but if you have wide feet like me, they aren't very comfortable. Underground's "darkside" line is similar to Pennangalan's heeled boots, but they fit wide feet MUCH better.

Summer Footwear:
I'm trying to find some nice shoes that will go with darker shorts and such, but ones that don't look like the standard sneakers/running shoes/tennis shoes that are for sale at every Payless and Famous Footwear on the planet (which are mostly white or shades of black and pink or some damned thing).
For one thing, I've seen these before, but they're a bit clunky and, according to the wife, wouldn't really look good with shorts anyway. As a fashion moron, I was wondering what you all liked.

Hmmm...*goes off to shoe sites to browse* ...how about something like this: Underground shoe ? They're sneakers I suppose but a little more interesting than most.
You can buy them here: Darkside of Camden
Failing that, a simple pair of army boots looks ok with shorts. Flat soles look better than chunky ones with shorts, in my book

Oh my hell, is *that* the reason boots look a smidge off under shorts? Satori has struck... and here I was making do with docs and below-the-knee black or dark blue shorts (at least, when the woman would let me leave the house that way). Nice...

I have a thing for boots. I own 8 pairs of boots and am always willing to buy new ones if I have the money for it.
I dont think there are many things that are "goth"... they become goth if you wear them just right. But hey.. thats just my twisted brain that thinks so...

Docs and below the knee shorts look good together. I was picturing dodgy short shorts! Personally I don't think guys in really short shorts should be allowed out in public (unless they're playing sports) no matter how nice their legs are! That's just me though. Baggy 3/4 length shorts are ok when it's too hot for trousers, just not with Jesus sandels... I'm sure you don't do that though, Sobeh! Erm, do you?
...and that's my Trinny and Susannah moment over with! 0.O

My New Rocks are almost identical to those, except they have a silver bat on the toe. I adore them.

I currently own this pair of New Rocks.
Yes, this exact pair! They're mine now.

That's why she was nominated to be a mod a while back. The other mods went to her wannabe-party and they saw her wardrobe, and it was unanimous after they saw the boots. I think maybe she had to bite someone too.
I keed, I keed!

You're very welcome, Sobeh
Oh, and I'm relieved to hear that you have succumbed to the scariness of super-short shorts in summer!

Ooh, I have to admit that they actually are the most beautiful boots ever, Eternity! I probably couldn't walk in them though, so I'll stick with my purple docs
