Oh I get it. You're a kind of Christian that studies other religions? What? Jesus isn't enough for you? Having a hard time finding spiritual fulfillment in one set of imaginary ideas, you have to look for more in other imaginary ideas? Interesting.

i like looking over other religions, that way when i meet new people i can dicuss our veiws CIVIALLY like mature people should. Jesus is enough for me, but that doesnt mean that buddia or allah isnt interesting. i study religions to understand the people that follow them. i have my spiritual fufillment, but my mind still wants to learn more. 'imaginary' or not.

I may not feel like pursuing the same line of conversation. But if you must go, you must.
However, I am curious to see, why atheists should be pitied. An impending apocalypse falls far short of any good reason, unless you equally pity, pagans, buddhists, shintoists, hindus, jews and muslims.
I still fail to comprehend, how only believing in ideas that are demonstrably true, is a sad thing. I believe in things. I just make damned sure they're true.

I feel sorry for both Atheists and Christians... Both try so hard to prove each other wrong when in essence, neither know exactly what's goin on. It's as simple as that. My human being, feels like that there is a greater force at hand in this reality. But who knows what kind of reality this is? Maybe the Scientologist's are right? Maybe the Annunaki theory is true?
Why do we keep fighting, on account of human religion?

Its pretty easy to point out that something isn't there. It is pretty hard, however, to prove the existence of an invisible.. magical being who's qualities are rather unlikely.
The Annunaki are also highly unlikely as there is no known evidence towards their existence... plus... the genetic evidence that we share a common ancestry with the other great apes and the piles and piles of fossil evidence regarding human evolution.
