There's a strong case to be made for The Brothers Karamazov being the best novel ever written, IMO.
Hart Crane's complete poems and selected letters & prose. I've run out of good novels to read recently.

LOVE Clive Barker, but I have yet to get around to Imajica yet...
I'm finally reading Fear and Loathing. Also about halfway through The Stand by Stephen King. Re-reading some Sherlock Holmes as well. I adore Holmes; he's one of my all-time favorite characters, in any medium.

For what it is, its good. It was written in 2005 so you have to ignore the rumours bit but it gives a lot of appreciation for how they made their music and how their sound changed over the years. I found myself stopping at times to put on the album that the book was talking about how they made so I could follow along. Overall it could have been written better, but hey, its a biography and it makes good light reading.
I think the best bit of trivia was how Tolhurst once really had to go to the bathroom while they were the supporting act for Generation X and he found Billy Idol in the bathroom fucking a groupie, and he couldn't hold it in so he decided to go for it and pee. He aimed for the toilet but partly peed on Idol's leg. Since I read that whenever I think of Billy Idol I have to giggle and think "hehe, the Cure peed on you."
Dunno what to read now, might pick up The Compass Of Zen by Seung Sahn again, I don't recall if I ever finished it or not.

The Bartimaeus Trilogy: Book One
"The Amulet of Smarkand" by Johnathan Stroud.
You know, I thought this book was going to be kind of juvenile from my friend's description of it, but I am actually enjoying the storyline. It's a new perspective, from a "demon's" point of view.
Interesting Fantasy Fiction.

Backlash: The Undeclared War Against American Women by Susan Faludi. I thought the title sounded sensationalist but apparently its really amazing. Someone recommended her book Stiffed: The Betrayal Of The American Man (which from what I understand is about the masculine mystique Betty Freidan very briefly mentioned and how sexism harms men too) but I thought I should read this one first.
