Did I see the words "Cookie Monster Panties"? Gawd, I'm drooling on meh keys again. E.P.S Stop being hawt or move to MN... your choice, I give you a week to decide. ^^
I went to HT about two days ago... wait no that was yesterday... no it's 3am so yeah two days ago. I was sorely dissappointed with the general collection?! I did see a furry jacket I want to copy though... need to go remnant/recycled shopping..

No0o0o0o, MN is too damn cold...
Temperatures that low remind me of when I lived in Toronto and that makes my Pink Parts sad..
*Sniffle*
But Portland is lovely, and it never gets cold enough to freeze your labia together here..
So I'm glad it's settled. You're moving to the Land of Port..

MonsterMomma,
Thanks for the tip. I'm going to Philly next weekend for Dracula's Ball; now I know to stop by Zipperhead.

Next time I'm in Philly I'll stop by that store.
Some girl hissed at me in Hot Topic. It was odd.

*sigh*
I'm jealous. I love it here(New Mexico), but sometimes I really miss the ol' stompin' grounds.
Where's the ball being held?
If you're going to be there a few days, see if Revival is still open. Used to be a "memebers only" place, but it's easy to get people standing in line to sponser you in. If it's still there, that is.

Ugh, to be honest, that store gives me a headache. I like when they have pretty black lacy things. I guess its the Victorian Renaissance thing I have going on. But otherwise, ties on girls can be cute, I do it on occasion along with the blazer. I dont like the massive chains and large pants that you could easily fit three people in...it looks good on some people, just not on me.
Blessings,

Contempo Casual used to sell crushed velvet leggins that were really high quality. I had a pair for about ten years before they started getting unwearable. I always washed them on delicate so that probably helped. Does anybody here remember that store? They used to carry some deathrock/goth clothes in the late 80's early 90's. I got a bunch of cool stuff there back then. Unlike Hot Topic the quality was really good.

Yep, they still do the pretty lacy stuff. The crushed velvet's quality was terrible, I admitt. I get my velvet now at vintage and specialty stores online. I'm one of those ladies who cannot live without her long skirts and corsets.

MonsterMomma:
The ball is at Shampoo. I'll only be in Philly two days, with only enough stamina for one night of clubbing.

Yes, I remember Contempo Casuals. I was sad to see it close at my local mall. I still have a faux suede lace-up vest that I bought there.

I'll admit I've gotten a lot of crap (keyword "crap") at hot topic, but at least they have interesting magazines. I actually found one in japanese. Now I just have to learn to read japanese. If I buy anything there it's resident evil stuff and make-up. I feel weird buying lipstick anywhere else. Honestly I may pick up stuff there for one time use on stage but only until I get enough cash to import from Japan. All I need to do that is a band...-.-

Hot Topic was founded by Orv Madden. He opened the first store in southern California in 1989 when he realized that no other retailers were taking timely advantage of the direct correlation between music videos, alternative artists and fashions. Since then, we have grown to 661 Hot Topic stores located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. In 2001 we opened our first Torrid store and we now have 121 Torrid stores in 34 states. Hot Topic became a publicly traded company in September 1996 so we are 'owned' by approximately 46 million shareholders. Betsy has served as our CEO since 2000 and Orv Madden retired in April 2001. I hope this answers your questions! To learn more information about us you can check out our investor relations website at http://investorrelations.hottopic.com.

Bah. Read this and email Megan Hall if you are unsure. There's plenty of reasons to not like Hot Topic but get your fac's straight, ma'am.

I think HT is fine on occasion, but the mallrats who hang out out/inside hot topic should be shot. It's obvious thay're looking for approval, and doing it by clothing is kind of idiotic.
