What is "UNgoth" about you?

I wear jeans because of my town. They are really weird about it. But I do wear my goth gear when im anywhere else.

I also love comedy but still love action and stuff.

I love to (trying to, at least) cook and bake.

I love musicals, ballet, figure skating, and gymnastics (use to do the last two).

I'm Christian, I'm generally happy, I don't scare people, I'm not antisocial, I'm a chorus girl, I listen to country music with my dad, I love hugs, cute things and one of my favorite colors is baby blue, I can be a total ditz, I respect authority, I love plaid. I also cook, clean, love dance (though I'm not very good), and was on the Color Guard for band.

I think that's all pretty stereotypically ungoth.

I suck major at the game, so I don't even bother playing, but I've got a good amount of the soundtracks.

Ungoth about me? Hmmmm ... I've surrendered to blue jeans, but I only did that after I turned 30. That and for some reason I continue to be optimistic about politics after years of knowing better. Shame on me.

I happen to listen to certain genres of music people seem to loathe here, namely pop punk... Hm, I don't know.... I don't consider myself "Goth", so it's hard to determine what's "ungoth" about me.

If you look at stereotypical 'gothiness', I'm very happy, I can be bouncy, silly, and I melt over cute things. But I also melt over most of the things in the Halloween aisle, so it all works out, I guess. If anyone really cares... I really don't, I don't feel I must give up my goth card if I'm not perfectly goth all the time.

My hair isn't the stereotypical "black as dark as my soul" colour, instead its nearly purple. I listen to a lot of rock and some metal. Also, I have never met, in real life, a goth (except for this one girl at my school, but i have no idea if she even is one.) I love to laugh and smile a lot at many things. 9/10ths of all my friends are non-goth.

The fact that I chase severe weather and tornadoes, that is probally seen as "redneck" but I don't care because its fun and a wild ride! And maybe because I wear shorts in the summer and do not care if I get a tan. A tan is nice sometimes when you have a windowless painted black bedroom in the attic and you need a break, LMFAO!

I worship Bright eyes.

Anyways.

I don't dress goth, not because I don't enjoy it but because
I don't have the time, money. I especially lack patience for
DIY clothes. Gothic based/styled music is very close to my heart
