I'm starting to realise that what was just a matter of comfort and aesthetic preference is now a uniform.
Every day and almost every where I go, I wear my battered black biker boots, my tight black jeans, my tight black t-shirt, and my 1980s black leather jacket. It's damn near uniform, I wear it all the time. I have many plain black t-shirts that fit like second skin, many pairs of plain black jeans that do the same.
Sometimes I wear my khaki padded jacket and steampunk shirt over the jeans-tshirt-boots uniform, but only if it's too cold to wear the leather jacket.
And if it's really freezing I wear my she-must-be-from-the-KGB black leather trenchcoat with the jeans-tshirt-boots uniform.
I need variety in my life instead of looking forever and always like I'm stumbling home from a goth gig. So on Thursday night I'm wearing a semi-transparent black blouse, black underbust dress, backseamed 1950s style sheer stockings, and a big black fur coat. Sure, the colour stays the same, but at least I'm showing a bit of ankle.

I'm blatantly guilty of the same thing. But I don't need variety, that comes in other forms, so I'm quite happy with it.

Variety leads to fashion. No one needs fashion.

I'm able to get *slightly* more daring with my outfits now, but I have particular tastes for certain types of clothing so I am limited in what I wear.

Ditch the black. I bet you'd look quite fetching in a bright, flowery dress!

Bright colours tend to clash with my skintone (very pale, but hints of pink to it), my freckles, or my hair. So I avoid bright colours. Especially busy patterns like flowers.

But you do look stunning in that 'white dress in water' photo session.

Ahh, but that's a single colour. Mixed colours, bright colours, actual colour tends to be a little... jarring.

That would be perfect for jarring you out of your uniformity blues!

News Flash: No one cares what you wear. Or shouldn't rather. Take your fucking clothes off.

Slap, it's halfway through October. I take my clothes off, I'll freeze my tits off. And I like my tits where they are.
Besides, this is a thread about nothing- so it should hopefully not matter if I am rambling about clothing.

I bet you would look lovely in jewel tones though, especially a deep sapphire.
