Working on Saturday pretty much blows. And I get to do some more tomorrow. Yay...
But hey, the chicken and pickle sandwich I made yesterday was pretty good so it all cancels out right?

I'm with ya, Manimal. I had some good cake earlier, and it almost made up for the fact that due to a corrupted Word file I lost half my William Faulkner essay yesterday. *relocates to ranting before she starts a thread-jack - you don't wanna get her started*

I'm finally getting my freaking apartment guys!!!! I'm so psyched. I've already signed all the paperwork, and I move in during the middle of January. Best part is, I can paint the walls if I want to! I also have TWO covered parking spaces with poles between me and everyone else so I don't have to worry about people banging up my truck!
YAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!
*jumps up and down in delight*

qualify your point.
most here who "know" mods or admin. have been here for a while and would not, as a general rule, start a "stupid" thread.
conversely, those who have been here for some length of time most likely stay here because they have some vested interest in the site over and above the ridiculous chat-room-esque bullshit that has unfortunately plagued this site of late - and in that vein, get to "know" or become "friends" with mods / admin, as you put it - as well as other posters.
you say you hate "forum cliques", however you (universal, not specific) start at a particular forum and interact with the hope of getting to know some of the personalities within, wishing to form some sort of familiarity with others of a like-mind.

perhaps at other sites, but the same doesn't hold true here. quarrels, flames, etc. regularly erupt between regulars here - especially in the 'politics' thread.

funny. if you're gonna burst in here like a special olympics kid with attitude, be prepared to have rotten tomatoes thrown at you. that's just life.

I just hope I never come across any cliques here.

there are plenty of forums all over the web that specialize in vapidity. if you frequent a place such as that, don't be surprised with what you see.
and if i haven't said it before - welcome.

and korova - congrats on your new apt. when's the house-warming party?

I just found out that the forum was still there. Someone stole my glasses as a cruel joke. I just found them until now. People are douchebags.

My new doggies name is Taylor. She is a seven year old female Doberman Pincher and I love her. She barked at the mail lady this morning tee heeee.
Right now she is on the floor beside the chair curled up in a little ball sleeping.

I got a kitty!
He doesn't have a name yet, though. What's a good name for a little yellow kitty?

Seven years old? And curled up in a "little" ball? My Miniature Pinscher can accomplish a little ball, but I can't see a full-grown Doberman Pinscher as a little ball.
Did you maybe mean seven weeks or seven months? Or is the joy of a new dog warping your senses? Puppies always warp my senses... I turn into a goofy, mushy blob.
Is Taylor a black and tan? There's a pet pictures thread - I wanna see!
