Poor ice!! That sucks. I'm always willing to talk. I'm not that great at chearing people up but I can dance around and talk like a crazy person.
And as for doing something today, I went to school and took a couple of tests and didn't do anything else too special.

Ice, do what I did (if that's your thing):
Write her a letter telling her how you feel. You can always confront someone face-to-face, but emotion always gets in the way and we easily end up looking like idiots as well as heartbroken. Nothing's more pityfull than a heartbroken idiot, so I recommend you go wyh the letter.
I'm ather good at written letters, but couldn't help including in mine Tsone's poem "She Despairs, as a desperate/vindictive reminder that life without me is barren, nights are cold and endless and the days are grey and all is always the same. And I included Empty's "Will You Dance With Me?" to remind her why we happened in the 1st place.
Which reminds me: Tstone & Michelle - THANK YOU, THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU! Now all that is needed is time and the magical powers of my desire to make this love spell work. If it does, we can call it "Rapture in a loveletter" or "Vengeance is Mine", market it and make a bundle. what do you say? I'm calling it Mailedstrom for now...
I also burned her a cd with:
Maria Betânia -Explode Coração
Azure Ray - Dragonfly
Auf Der Maur - Head Unbound
Auf Der Maur - Taste You
Morrissey - My Love Life
Interpol - Slow Hands
Interpol - Not Even Jail (YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS SONG. IT'S SIMPLY BRILLIANT AND ONE OF THE BEST YOU'LL HEAR ALL YEAR)
Morrissey - Speedway
Massive Attack - Protection
Dresden Dolls - Half Jack
Azure Ray - Nothing Like A Song
Azure Ray - These White Lights Will Bend To Make Blue
Vive La Fête - Noir Desir
Auf Der Maur - Overpower Thee
Bjork - Come To Me
Bjork - All Is Full Of Love
I did the inlay underlining the passages of the songs I meant for her to reflect upon, did the cover with a heart, the "fragile/handle with care" "explosive contents" and "This End Up" sign and the title "Trespassa-se : A High Fidelity Heartbreak in Stereo" ("trespass" in portuguese is a sign you put up in shops when you want to rent/lease them out, and it also means to stab something all the way through).
Sound obssessive enough for you? Maybe, but it was a catharsis as well. I had to get that out of my system, whether she choses to return or not. If she happens to return, I will have gotten it out of my system and be able to move on with my life (and hopefully my love). Sounds trivial, but you wouldn't believe the amazing amount of people who get back together with their luggage full of resentment and distrust.
It doesn't work that way.
(I still got the photoshop, freehand and wmp files on my pc, if you want/need them.)
Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself and don't take shit from no one!
Good luck, mate.

I went to school. I have to take notes on five chapters for sociology. It's driving me crazy. At least I have my cinnamon butter. (Yes, my grandmother got it for me and it's tasty) I can't wait til this semester is over because I'll only take one class and be able to loaf the rest of the time.

Gee, what did I do today?
Well, had to have my car towed home, since it redlined 1/2 mile from work. Looks like I need a new water pump. >.<
Good thing Sam's out of work right now, otherwise, I would have no way to get to my job.
Such fun. Hope it never ends!
And Sam and I started biting each other's heads off.
...
I just want to know...who the fuck did I piss off?
Yes, I am bitter right now. Why do you ask?
And why does this shit seem to happen in clumps like this?
GAH! I know it won't last forever, and I have to keep my chin up. But sometimes, it's really tough.

Lunch break, the weather is bad, it's cold, rainy...
I'm attending a 3 weeks crash course on fresco painting and fresco restauration.
We have theory and chemistry lessons in the mornings, and from afternoon to evening we are slaking lime, mixing plaster, and painting.
I'll start working on my second giornato (the daily task - as much as you can paint until the plaster is getting dry, which is usually a time span between 3 and 7 hours) today and as everyday I'm excited (and also a bit afraid of ruining the painting). Fresco is more complex and difficult than I had expected it to be - I am the kind of painter who is usually developing the painting and mixing the colors during the process, which isn't possible using fresco technique, where you have to think ahead, mix your pigments, plan the color palette from a to z, finish the composition before painting. The layers are transparent, similar to a watercolor painting, so wrong strokes with the wrong pigments are hard to sometimes almost impossible to paint over. The time is very limited. I find myself in churches in my lunchbreaks more and more often, standing in front of the frescos in awe and wonder - not today, I'm too tired - the lack of sleep is taking its toll - Iwanted to take a nap, but wasn't able to sleep, which is why I am spamming you now with silly talk.
.
All in all learning that old techniques is a great experience, I'd love to get deeper into the subject, oh well, I think I need a sponsor.

Wolfie - heh, thanks - now that I've some more experience it's becoming more relaxed the key is how to mix the plaster and getting the feeling how much of it you can put on which walls ... painting itself is sometimes tricky, but very nice...
I don't know if you are interested in experimenting - I had in mind to translate the summaries and notes our teachers made for us and illustrate the progress with some photos for some friends when I have a little bit more experience and find sometime in the next 1 or two months - I'll let you know when I'm done with it - I think that if you know some basics and some hints you can learn it without a teacher...also we have started on small scales, on bricks - just one or 2 daily tasks - which you can do quite quickly and for which you don't need that much pigment also (that's the most expensive part about it)...
drgnlvr - all the best for you and all the strengh you need going through such tough times.
