Thanks, I'm rather pleased with it
The jars and the stuff in them are remarkably easy (and cheap, so very cheap yet wonderfully effective) but I really lucked out with the basket. It ties the whole thing together and I just happened to be outside when my neighbor was going to toss it because there is a bit that broke on one of the handles so now it stuck out but that was easily fixed by wrapping it with the ribbon.

WMMD: I appearently eat eggs now! This is going to make life much easier food-wise now. Now I just need to try out all kinds of egg-based dishes ^.^

I was pretty good at pool as a kid, not so much any more but most of my friends are just as bad and we managed to have tons of fun playing.
Timeless do you do a lot of cooking? And are you interested in recipes? I really love eggs so I have loads of recipes ranging from super basic to pretty impressive but really none of them are all that hard (except souffles, those are super finicky)

Okay the basics of cooking with eggs are scrambling, frying, poaching, and making omelets so how proficient are you with those?

Hello Sol. I went to school for culinary arts so I'm a decent cook. Egg recipes are always good. I make a good omelette. New recipes are always wanted. Today I'm making peanut butter fudge yum. Have found the easiest recite for peanut butter fudge.

I like mine over-easy with savoury seasonings and toast on the side. Very quick, one pan one plate.

Sol: I ruined two eggs until a kind soul told me that you have to put oil on the pan - I assumed because the egg was liquid that it would be self-lubricating like bacon. I was wrong. Adding oil to the pan did wonders though!
That is about as far as my abilities with eggs go right now

I know Martha is kind of the evil and all but there is a reason she got so popular, she is good at what she does. Her how to cook eggs video gives a nice overview of the basics, it's split into two parts, both around 5 minutes, definitely give it a look. I could tell you how to do it all but with eggs it really helps to see what is happening.
She says to use heavy cream in your scrambled eggs, personally I prefer milk and I always have milk on hand, not the case with heavy cream. Also the best part about scrambled eggs (and omelets, which are basically the same thing but more work and slightly different texture) is that you can add basically anything to them and it will taste great. This is what I do with most leftovers, so much better than just reheating, or you can just chop up some veggies (I like onions and bell peppers) and toss those in, maybe add a bit of cheese. Just make sure that anything that needs to be reheated is already at least warm cuz scrambles cook up fairly quickly, and just toss them in when the eggs are about halfway done.
I think I remember there being a food thread, I'll see if I can find it and necro it (or start a new one) so this thread doesn't get totally hijacked with talk of eggs.

Today I and another friend went to visit someone who had been through a rough patch and wasn't picking up her phone... she was ok, had just needed space and seemed to be in a better frame of mind

After this weekend and last night I'm just happy to have a day off, which you would think a person without a job would have a lot of but between selling baked goods, birthdays/baby showers/going away parties (of course making presents because we are too broke to buy presents), and Halloween stuff things have been really busy. Thankfully there are no parties until mid-October (and those ones don't require presents), I have no special orders to work on for 3 weeks, I finished the Halloween invites (27 made by hand, so glad those are done), and I'm ahead of schedule on making Halloween decorations.
Ah sweet rest and relaxation.

Earlier today, I was starting to feel really down in the dumps about my current career path. (I've gone back to school for graphic design.)
After I picked up my camera and started taking pics of my dog for an assignment, I felt tons better! ^__^ She's a cutie!
