About two years ago, at a friend's house party, all the good spirits and whiskey run out and since I'm not much of a beer drink, I decided to mix beer with softdrinks. It turns out that I actually didn't mind the taste and continue to occupy myself with more of this beer-softdrink.
Aussies love their beer, so when they hear this, it's like I done evil.

Awwwwww shit! I had Jag a total of 2, count them 2 times my whole life. The first time i was 19 at a bar with my roomie when I stumbled across a guy I used to work with at a record store. He insisted in buying me a drink (a redheaded slut) so I drank it out of courtesy, even though I didn't really drink. I felt drunk almost instantly. I thought he drugged me! The second time was my 21st birthday show. A friend of mine who bartended at that particular bar bought me a jager-bomber. She didn't let me ask what it was just poured it down my throat. Needless to say that disgusting concoction kept me from getting birthday sex, dammit. One thing I did notice both times... when you are jager-drunk, you are TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS... and you KNOW you are being obnoxious.. but you can't make it stop.
LOL. Silly me. My best friend really like jag as well, and she has some AWFUL (but hilarious) stories about it.

Awww Xng that stinks. I hope your hands feel better soon. Have you been putting lotion on them?

Have you tried soaking them in a sink of warm (not too hot) water with a little baby oil in it? Works wonders when mine get like that.

The walmart bags thing sounds a bit like a spa treatment they taught me in massage therapy college. Try soaking your hands in pretty warm water like Wise Child suggested... just until they start to get pruney. Then dry them off and start applying lotion. you can use a it more than you normally would.. then take your socks and put them on top of your super lotion covered hands. Let the lotion soak in for 10 minutes (or longer if you feel like it) if your hands saok all the lotion up, feel free to use a bit more, if not you rub the excess in, or wipe it off. whichever you prefer.

I would wait until you have your hands hydrated back to normal first. the salts may dry them out more. I normally wouldn't recommend using water on something that is chapped, but in this case you need it to open your pores for the lotion.

My hands are all crackly, too, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. The skin keeps cracking open and bleeding, but I barely feel it. There are little spots on my pillow, as well, that probably come from my hands bleeding.
When I can be bothered to do something about it, I use a Burt's Bees hand cream. Smells nice, and seems to work.

You should try what I told Xng as well. Burts Bee's products are amazing! I'm sure if you used those after soaking your hands and wrapped them up for a while that it'd really make a difference..

The only problem with my hands is that they don't work properly, and the cat scratches them to hell.

my cats do the same. They've gotten a bit better as they've gotten older though. But if your foot gets in the way of my Kitty Bam as he is in hot pursuit of his string or the laser pointer, LOOK OUT!
LOL!

YAY! I'm glad I could help a bit Xng... If they are still sore you should continue to put lotion on them up to 4 times a day... as well as doing the whole soaking them thing once a day for the next 3 days. Then by Christmas when you get your mittens they should be all better..
