Yes, I could.
But I'm actually just about to tell her in a very nice way that her questions are inappropriate and that I don't mind a chat, but she'll have to tone it down a bit.

I had no hot water this morning
Cold showers are no fun.

Just an apology?
And here I was thinking you'd offer to wrap your arms around me and warm me up for a bit...
*yeah dream on*

I did. She was very apologetic about the entire thing afterwards. Apparently she'd seen me at Zeps before and developed some sort of crush on me.
She said she was trying to impress me.
It didn't work.

Shame, she's also just looking for loving in the end. But oh well.
More ranting:
*psycho-neighbour from lala-land again - let's call him Mr X for now*
The place we live has a maid that comes once a week to clean the apartments. She has a set of keys to his apartment but not mine. So come Monday, I ask Mr X if I can leave the key and a note in his apartment where she can find it and thus gain access to my apartment as well.
So agreed. I get home Monday afternoon, and seeing that the maid was still there, I go to her just to say thanks for cleaning and whatnot. At this point in time Mr X comes out of his apartment (probably cause he heard me talking outside).
So I tell the maid that she can keep the key I left at the neighbour's place, whereupon she tells me:
"Mr X told me that I mustn't keep the key but have to leave it with him when I'm done at your place"
"Oh?" I say, and give Mr X a foul, questioning look. But before he could say anything, I turn back to the maid and tell her "Well it's MY key, not his, and I trust you, so let's just keep it with you."
WTF?
I'm a little freaked out. Just a tad.

This guy really sounds like bad news, Nevan. Hell, I don't even know him but from what you've said so far, I definitely don't trust him. I hope things turn out for the better soon.
As for the Facebook girl, well, I can understand that she's just looking for love, but from various things she's said while talking to me, it is quite clear that she's got some MAJOR issues, and I've just come out of a relationship with someone like that, so yeah.
Also, her way of approaching me definitely did not impress me...

Hmf. I tell you, why can't people just be cool? Instead of trying to impress each other and shit?
I've given up on trying to make a good impression long ago because I suck at it. And there's no point to it anyway.
As for my neighbour, I do believe he doesn't mean any harm - but he's acting like he's my father and like I can't think for myself.
When he's driving with me he also has this habit of saying 'stop', 'go', 'take that gap'. But one day I just stopped the car, turned to him and said 'I appreciate that you're trying to help, but I've been driving all on my own for nearly ten years now and I think I can manage fairly well without your direction.'
That was the end of that. He's been getting a different lift ever since

Don't worry, Nevan. You've made quite the impression on me
Anyway, flirting aside, I can't help but laugh at the whole driving thing...

Yes, I didn't quite think I had it in me to be so blunt with him - some days I amaze even myself (or it was just the PMS talking).

Grr, I'm ridiculously annoyed at myself today. I completely missed that an utterly gorgeous sort-of-gothic girl was on the way of hitting on me, and giving me the looks, and when I finally figured it out I had to go to my appointment and she to her so I never had the chance to talk to her.
Bah. Things like that could ruin a whole day. On a bonus side, it's fun being outside in the city, and noticing that most girls turn around after one. Always something, but still.. *picky*

Damn straight you should be annoyed at yourself. She probably thought you were kind of gay when you went on oblivious about how she was licking her lips and wiggling her ass in oh-so-suggestive ways just to get your attention.

My partner in Comp Religions has been yelling at me to work on my final project and get off Gnet for weeks now..
I finished MY half today, she isn't even partly done hers, and she's TEXTING. ARGHHHH!
She also got bitchy with me when I asked her about having unprotected sex with her boyfriend when neither of them want a child right now..
She is really starting to piss me off.

To be fair, that's none of your business. If she wants to act recklessly, you're in no place to stop her.

Aw, poor Meth!
Take consolation in that you're not the only one who misses really obvious things sometimes. Damn near every male I know misses it when someone's flirting with them.
The females, on the other hand, are paranoid in case someone might be flirting with them. Odd girls.
