Someone stole our fucken bins this morning, or last night, whatever. They were out for collection and this morning before the garbo rolled up they were gone. Both of them. We have a recycle bin and a regular one. Who the hell steals two full fucken wheelie bins?! Goddammit. Now we have to hit the shire up for more or buy our own. Either way we can't really afford it right now. I'm about to go for a drive around the neighbourhood to look for them. Thank goodness I have a ute. I don't think they're down the hill because my boyfriend didn't see them that way on his way to work this morning...

I drove around for a while in the up-hill direction and had no luck finding our bins. Looks like we have to purchase new ones. That sucks.
PJ, why do you wish you could remember how to be sociable? Upcoming event? Or just looking to make new friends?

I'm just awkward around people and I get shy around folk I don't know well. I say stupid things that I know are stupid when they come out of my mouth but I can't think of anything else to say. Plus being shy makes you a downer at parties and such, and I don't like feeling dull.

I'm exactly the same way, my social anxiety got the point where I wouldn't talk at all because I was so afraid of saying stupid shit. I'm still shy but I least got the point where I don't beat myself up over it anymore, though.
You're very lovable, and being introverted isn't necessarily a bad thing. And I find I'm only a downer when we're just standing around drinking at a party, call me a geek but I'm much better at parties where something like video games are involved. I bet I would be with board games too but drunken Trivial Pursuit is a hard thing to talk people into.
I also found a niche in craft nights and volunteering, so I count that as my social time.

I'm like that until I have a few drinks, then I become a lot more open and chatty. I find I kind of need to drink (alcohol) around people I don't know very well or I pretty much don't talk. I'll give short (but not unfriendly) answers to questions. Not that I care about it much, I don't like to drink a lot these days. I don't mind not talking, I'm mostly happy to listen and learn about other people. I always feel like I know people better than they know me.
Oh and I found our bins down the street this morning

Just to clarify, Jack, is that cocaine or cola you are referring to?
I've had a cold for a week now. Perfect timing with my classes that started yesterday. At least today I 'only' have a sore throat, nasal gunk, and aches. Thankfully the low grade fever I was running yesterday didn't come back again. Hoping that it burned off the germs.
The elderberry syrup is gone. wah.

Cocaine, I steer clear of coca cola. I don't like their company. Not that Peruvian Coke Barons are the most ethical employers on the planet but I'd prefer to finance them as opposed to coca cola.

Sounds like a good time to me, although drunken Phase 10 is kind of hard to beat.
Also avoid Sorry while drinking, it turns everyone into raging assholes

Wheelie bins usually get stolen because they are useful to:
- store water in when growing a drug crop in national parks
- lining up on the bottom of a crest, so when driver's come over the hill, they hit the wheelie bins.
Okay it was me. I took your wheelie bins. I'm building a rocket to the moon.

My sister would always get drunk and try to make me play scattergories with her. She'd get INSANE.

Its amazing how quick seasonal depression hits. I was fine until this morning, when it was 7:00 and still dark out. And now I feel miserable for no real reason.
Drunken scattergories would really cheer me up, I bet.

I've never tried drunken scattergories but I'm pretty much game for any sort of drunken family night type fun...except pinochle because I get too confused to figure out meld when I'm drunk and then my partner ends up yelling at me for bidding wrong.

Wait, maybe I didn't explain correctly.
Drunken scattergories with my sister was HORRIBLE. I'd be like, 8, and she'd be threatening to kill me over a board game.

Oh I was thinking that this was like a now kind of thing, not trauma from when you were a kid.
