Meh, I just get annoyed at my coworkers, and it carries over. Also, I'm contrary. So, when someone pops up saying people are going to have sex, I have to yell "not me!"

I'm not asexual, if that means "lack of a sex drive". (And I'm a "he".) I just don't...hmm...

Well, in my few past experiences, I'm a "heart first" person, by which I mean that I have a hard time being interested if I am not mentally and emotionally attracted first. That, and my religious beliefs, keep me pretty chaste.

Besides, I like being in a minority of the population. And I never have to worry about things like STDs. Not that most people go around worrying about herpes, I suppose, which is possibly part of the problem discussed in the OP.

But I don't think I said anything about what you choose to do. So don't infer my choice to be a criticism of yours. Should I decide to criticize, I will make it more obvious.

I suppose phone sex has it's advantages, but I REALLY miss real sex.

That would be because teenage girls have become sluts, and teenage boys have become "players" and so all the girls have horrifying diseases.

In defense of all people who suffer from coldsores (myself included), I just have to say this: I've had coldsores for as long as I can remember. I don't know how I got the virus, but I can assure you, I wasn't sucking on body parts ay age 4. Just because someone has a coldsore doesn't mean they got it from sexual activity (they very well could have, though).

80-90% of the human population has the virus for oral herpes. It has the ability to lie dormant.

Sorry for coming off defensive, I just get a lot of "well where'd ya get THAT from" whenever I get a coldsore.

Giggle . . . yah, only most, not all. Besides my sexual activity within a monogamous relationship, I'm rather prudish. No flashing of boobs or other parts. I find it really sad that our society is so in love with the "I don't want it to happen so it won't happen" mentality that they refuse to educate and protect themselves and others.

I was with this one guy, and we were working our way towards a relationship when I told him I wouldn't have sex with him until he saw a doctor and got tested. After I said that he avoided me. *shrug* I'm sorry. I don't want to fuck with my health just so I can live in the moment.

But why don't more people do that? Is it because they don't want to seem uncool? I figure, if you don't feel close enough to someone to talk about something personal like STDs with a person, then you can't be possibly be close enough for sex.
