Good to know you don't assess people as individuals and judge them based on the actions of others. You are hurting only yourself and they will walk away, and remember you only for your pissywallow. Then, frankly, there is nothing else woth remembering about you because it is easier to be just a cunt than work on being something worthwhile.

Go away. Die alone.

I'm working on it, but it's hard to revamp a long-held habit. Trust me, I see the errors in the ways I act and carry on, but I usually turn a blind eye to it. It wasn't until recently I realized I'm quite the cunt and decided to try and change things for the better. Since then, I've slowly been working at those adjustments, though it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere.

It's going to be a long, hard road for me, but I'll make sure I arrive at the end of it.

You're not some martyr.

PS--we all know you're only doing this 180 because I pointed out how much of a bratty child you are.

I'm not trying to project myself as a martyr. Perhaps in your eyes.

However, you're free to think whatever you like, Ophelia. It had nothing to do with what you said, and I haven't a clue as to why you'd think it would arc back to you. No, it was JCC and Molly that tweaked my perspective a bit. They opened a few vents with their posts.

I know I'm a bratty child, I won't deny that. Even so, I was utterly serious about wanting to change.

It irks me that you want to come off--and see yourself as--blindingly intelligent and mature, perfectly justified when condescending to others.
You are the epitome of brat, and you constantly contradict yourself, backpedal, and say things that are completely and foolishly immature and inappropriate.

All of these things are fine for someone your age, but quit masquerading as some tenured librarian, because it's silly at best, and downright insulting to writers and thinkers at worst.

Dammit, Ophelia, I was just about to send her a bill for my life-coaching services.

You've already said I was brat. You sound like a broken record, I've heard it so many times. I get it, but to say I'm the epitome? Have you met every other "brat" out there to make a statement as bold as that? I'm sure there are worse people out there than me, Ophelia. But I'll give you this, I probably am one of the worst.

And I'm not trying to come off as "mature" and "intelligent." In fact, I always thought I came off as the polar opposite to the majority of people on these boards. Strange.

Also, how to writers come into play? I wasn't aware I was typing prose.

I'll still pay. Do you prefer checks or cash?

Don't be stupid.

Also, if people are constantly telling you you're a brat, why wouldn't you change?
You've said just a few hours ago that the comments on here mean nothing because it's just another stupid forum, yet you're willing to change your entire personality because of what we say, when you wouldn't change for the hundreds of people telling you you're a brat in real life?

I don't need to comment on this really, because it's so transparent I'm smirking.
You're embarrassing yourself.

If you've been paying attention at all, I said I've been working at it, though it doesn't seem to be moving anywhere. The comments just helped me move along a little faster, but they're not the sole reasons I want to change.

Glad I can make you smile, dear.

And what else is new? I always embarrass myself on these forums.

If it's "another stupid forum", why bother?
I'm noticing a lot of idiots on the board are somehow affiliated with animesomething (just look at her avatar).

Weeeeeeeeeeeird.

I drew it as a custom icon and wanted to use it, not because it was anime-related.

Everyone, really? This isn't being very civil. Picking on someone else really isn't apart of the topic, nor does it solve anything. And don't respond to this saying, "Yeah! That's right!,' Noir, because if anything, your attitude toward strangers could use a little adjusting, but you already admitted to that.

Back on topic: Since you're in Chico, have you thought about going to Sacramento? Bigger goth scene there, as it has a few clubs. But as you have spotted some punky/goth girls IN Chico, the best thing is probably just to ask them, in order to save gas money ;]

I don't really know Sacramento area too well. But that is a good suggestion. Are you from Sacramento? Btw are you aware that you can make a round trip to Sacramento and Chico by Amtrak for only $24? Or round trip from Sacramento to bay area for around that amount as well? Just a thought for those who live near to any of those area and want to travel a bit but cannot afford the gas.

If I have some luck with a couple photography in Chico and learn how to approach people better, I'll consider going down to Sacramento sometime this summer for a night just to do some photography.

I don't live in Sacramento, I'm about 45 minutes southwest from there (Fairfield).

There are models who live in Sacramento-- the scene is thriving, last I heard. There's a couple good clubs and apparently one awesome one, but... I'll have to dig up those details for you.

Previously, L'Oiseau Noir thought Gothic.net was a magical cypher from which she could derive the secrets of the universe.

Ah ok thanks for info. I prefer to avoid models for now so I can polish up my skill first then I'll try go for one. But I may check out the club.

I feel weird to say this but... I've NEVER been in a club. I have been in bar only four time in my entire life. So... I hope it work out if I do go to Sac lol. I probably would look pretty odd because I don't look like a goth at all.

I would say yes, it has happend to me, but I would give the person my email adress to let me know if the pictures where going up on the web. I would not however go any place with you without somone else... so maybe you can ask a group if you have a back drop in mind. I think it'll help everyone relax and have fun, having your picture taken is fun, and perhaps you'll make some friends as well. Good luck!

I wouldn't care if I was asked as long as it was in a public place or maybe a studio if other people came along. Actually I'd be flattered.

But this is all besides the fact that I'm probably to young to do stuff like this and nobody would ever ask me to model.
