When my child is born, the mother suffered for a loss of blood and the placenta tried to "exit" (sorry guys I really don't know the english term).
It should have killed mother and child.
We have been lucky 'cause we live near the hospital and we reached it very quickly (without knowing exactly what was happening, to be sincere).

The thought of losing in a bunch of minutes both my partner and my child has been a terrible experience for me.
Anyway, I fear I'm going OT...

I'm sorry about your situation. I agree that I believe your parents are reacting very badly to it, even if it's just out of love [and fright] for you.

I agree with the others that, if you are physically able, that perhaps it's time to enter the world on your own. That way, even though they can tell you what they do and do not like, they can't -make- you do anything.

*hugs* I'm sorry for your loss, but please know that you didn't do -anything- wrong. Most first-time pregancies are miscarriages. However, next time, perhaps it would be better to use a condom and some birth control to prevent pregnancy..?

Echoing the opinion of those who have already said you should find other lodgings. Your parents may think they're "helping" you, but it's a sick form of love--if you can even call it that--that requires a child to sacrifice everything that they are in order to gain any kind of support after a major medical emergency. Get a job, find someone who will let you stay in return for a share of the rent until you find a more permanent residence, and get the hell out of your current situation.

1stly, unplanned pregnancy can happen even with contraceptives, and it can happen to anyone. So even if you dressed preppy and smiled 24 hours a day, the same thing could have happened, and changing your clothes aint gunna stop you have having an adult sexual relationship with your boyfriend.

2nd, Whether you had an ectopic pregnancy, or just muddled the word ovary with Uterus or whatever, having a pregnancy end in miscarriage is hard, regardless of whether you wanted that pregnancy or not. So you deserve to grieve and need to be kind to yourself. Stuff your parents, go do something symbolic and think about contacting a grief councillor. For you and your partner, because he went through something of his own during this and again, screw your parents, you are old enough to have a boyfriend and be responsible with your relationship.

3rd, a lot of these guys are right, you are old enough to leave home. SO consider it. But don't write your parents off completely, just cause they are behaving like asses. The fact is, that they love you. And what happened probably did scare the living crap out of them.
They want you to be happy. They want you to have a good life and they want it to be an easy life for you. So having their teenage daughter become unexpectedly pregnant, then almost losing you, would have been incredibly traumatic for them. Give them time to chill out and to see sense. If they don't, then you can either tow the line, or move out. But always, always let them know that you love them and that you are taking care of yourself. To do otherwise would confirm their belief that you are still a child. So don't act like one, show them how mature you really are instead.

These things happen, and if your parents can't accept who you are and are just going to make you unhappy you just have to leave them and go somewhere else until they stop being irrational.
If my family told me to give up my life and keep quiet 'or else' I'd tell them to get fucked and stay somewhere else until I could rent my own place.
You'd be much happier being able to do what you want and see who you want, rather than being denied everything you want to do
