I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess we've always been geniuses.

When I was little I believed that these little bugs we have here called ear wigs if you weren't careful would go behind your ear and pinch you with their claw like tail in the back of your ear making you go deaf. This was thanks to my cousins though I always was a bit skeptical and grew out of it quickly.

No JCC and Ophie. You were just never little kids. You were probably born "40-year-old midgets." Okay. Just joking. (I have a boss like that. She's totally rational, has no sense of humor whatsoever, and I think she's either a Vulcan or a droid, or she was born a "40-year-old midget").

Ugh.
That's truer than you know.
I forget who, but someone posted that they thought work was something adults did for the hell of it. I think that's adorable, but I'm extremely jealous.
My parents fought about money and hours at the job all the time, so I didn't have thoughts like that.
In fact, when I was younger my dad would take me on jobs to help out with things like screwing in switchplates and such. I guess I'm insane and it is a good idea to give a powerdrill to small children.

No, no, it's cool.
I wasn't upset, I've just been talking about it more lately for some reason.
Thinking about it more, I guess.

Eh, it's all right.
I had a lot of things most children don't, because I grew up on a farm. Little girls talk about wishing for ponies...I actually had one, lool.

Funny... Because when i was about 4 years old i was terrified of horses... It grew into hate now...
Another thing, when i was a kid my parents didn't work or anything, so we were poor, although we are muslims, but mom's christian... We celebrate christmas every year... But as children, and because my parents didn't have money for presents, mom would sew clothes for us, a gift from "ded maroz" aka santa...
So i remember this one christmas morning, i woke up and my gift was a green blouse, with a green skirt and underwear... Haha
When we were showing dad what santa got us.. I said "dad! Look! Santa got me a matching blouse and skirt... Even underwear!"
So i lifted my skirt... No underwear
Lmao

That's cute.
And it's really cool that your parents still made Christmas special for you. I really respect that.

When we were kids we put a huge tree and as a stupid thing to do we used to burn orange peal... It smelled funny and annoyed the hell out of mom... Hehe...
We cut our trees from a nearby forest, and we once got a lizard on a branch... That was cool... I don't see many lizards

Heh... Just remembered...
When i was old enough to start walking... Mom was trying to get me out of diapers... Or i peed *past tense of pee, not sure of the spelling* alot in my undies...
I was going to the house next doors, alone... Hehe... It seems that i wet myself... I took off my undies... And continued my way... Mom says, your grandfather's brother was holding you like a stinky piece of garbage, bottomless... Said to mom, your daughter has been running on the street without underwear...
Lol..
I have lots of bottomless as a kid stories..,.. Something i was famous for =P

I never really had a childhood... constant relocation barred me from many things... eh, nice to read though.

I also liked to play with frogs, lizzards and many other kinds of little animals.... so different to the present.

I enjoyed being a child just because I was so naive and hopeful, but I don't miss it because my childhood sucked all the way around.
I can't say I ever thought that, lol.

When I was a kid (somewhere between pre-school and first grade) I wanted to be a wolf and kill all the evil people.
After first grade, until about 7th, I wanted to be an assassin.
I blame this on my dad and the fact that he insisted I practice my shooting and knife throwing on human targets.
Oh, and I also abhorred dresses and refused to wear them after age 6.
