I abhor this man's use of violence to resolve this situation. The only thing he could have done worse was to use a gun. The moral thing to do would have been to try to get the shark to release the dog by offering himself as an exchange, and then have tried to show the shark the folly of using violence and the benefits of vegetarianism.

/sarcasm off.

Good on him. I'm sure his dog appreciates it.

I'd save my dogs from a shark, even though they were probably the ones who antagonized the shark at the beginning. They're stupid like that. I can kind of imagine the situation...

Wahwah(dog number 1): What's that?
Chichi(dog number 2): I don't know, lets bark at it! -bark-
Tenten(dog number 3): Yeah! -barks all yippity yippity-
Wahwah: I dunno, it looks pretty big, lets make friends! -jumps in water to play-
Shark: Ooooh, a snack! -bites-
Me: NOOOOOOO!!! MY MUTT!!!!!!! -jumps in and attacks shark with baka fan-

Thats so fucking gay. I would have left the dog to die. In fact, I would have recorded the shark eating the dog.

Your piggish views on the value of animal life aside, how is saving one's beloved pets from a shark in any shape or form homosexual?

Its "black metal humour" - as I prefer to call it. Do you really think I would enjoy watching the death of my pet? I'd rather get a pack of wolves than a dog though.

I live in a place where people buy beagles and then throw them out after hunting season is over, a lot of people have that attitude seriously. Though I figured you were just trolling :P

LOL Wow, I'm slow tonight. You had me going when I first started reading that. I didn't realize it was sarcasm until I got to the self-sacrifice part.

LOL, well, I had an epiphany. Well, not really. I just realized that A) most of the threads here are boring as hell, and B) that my usual state of mind makes almost everyone else here look like an optimist.

::snicker::

Also, I tend to lurk. But it's good to "see you" again. Anymore dreams about me?
