I remember this one time at mass (my mother is Catholic) where the Fr. said that "Jesus was a man, and equal to everyone else" and then turned around and said that Jesus was better because he was conceived immaculately and wasn't born a sinner.
I was like "wait, wtf?" Nobody else noticed. Lawlz.

I brought it up after mass and my mother was like "um.. ummmm....."

I found paganism at 11 and have been happy as a clam with that.
As far as Christianity goes, I'm with Ghandi: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Honestly, turning away from Christianity was harder than turning away from Paganism. Christianity had that whole Hell thing to get around. Paganism didn't. Funny how it all worked out like that in the end for me, personally.

Originally wiccan, now it would be best termed Celtic polytheism.

I'm a happy little heathen. Maypole, mead, bonfires, and nudidity.. all good with me.

Also pagan here. I have started looking more to native British deities lately. I have never been Wiccan. No thankyou.

Hi there! Well, as yet another Pagan (Whod've thunkit?) I can't tell you what I think because it would be bias. Only believe FACT. Judge for yourself if your God exists - you have to know it, not go on a wild goose chase over the internet

Am I the only one who feels like an agnostic with atheist leanings here?

I have replaced my faith with a deep seeded frustration with myself. I practiced and yet, nothing.

I could never find fulfillment in ritual or in the romanticism of a religion that's far less threatening. At least Christianity had some balls about it. At least they can actually get people to follow through fear, as sick as that is.

*sigh* To think, I could have been making a work of art instead of praying or trying to conjure the powers of the elements. All that time for little of nothing. :-/

Kontan, you should come up to Warsaw VA over the summer and attend a pagan festival with me. It's fantastic?

Only in the way a Ren fair is cool.
Spiritual atheism; it's the only way to go in an age that demands finally getting our act together.

I find that really fucking offensive.
