As I've stated, my musical interests are varied to probably an extreme extent. I think it's ignorant to say "oh I only listen to goth" or "I only listen to metal"; I listen to basically a little of everything and find pros and cons for every type of music. In regards to the culture itself, there are those that only conform to what society deems gothic because they find comfort in being seem as an outcast when in reality they are merely seeking conformity and acceptance. A true goth is someone who questions why things are happening and tries to understand the world in which they live.

We aren't saying you HAVE to only listen to goth music, you don't even need to be goth to be here, we just wish you were more educated on what goth is. Its not a subculture where the tragically misunderstood find acceptance, its a bunch of people who are huge fans of goth music, is all. There are a few stereotypes like, oh, I don't know, we all like Rocky Horror but really thats just bells and whistles, the music is the substance.
