What are they supposed to do with them?
I once lost my debit card IN the store I was shopping in and had 200 bucks' worth of groceries sitting there and I had to leave them there and barter with the bank across the way to let me withdraw cash with no bank card. It was humiliating.
Anyway they told me to leave the stuff there and the bagger had to put it in a cart and push it to the side and wait for me to come back.

Most types of lightning don't pose much risk to a plane. But better safe than sorry I guess, and there's much worse turbulence around storms.

Not directed at anyone in this thread, but misogynistic customer service is something I definitely don't miss about America.

Well, the nice thing to do is to put the groceries back, I don't usually want them to, because most people just put them in the all the wrong spots, however once in a while it'd be nice if a customer did that for me... putting them back in all the right spots that is. Not much of a problem for me, either way.

Once I used my debit card to pay for like $120 dollars worth of groceries, but it kept coming up something about not enough credit (despite the fact it was a debit card). I got paid that day and I knew I had money in there because I did take out about forty dollars for cabs (and I was broke the day before so if I didn't have the money I couldn't get that forty). So the card wouldn't work, went to the ATM, that wouldn't work, called the bank, they said they couldn't see my money. It was retarded, I had to leave all my groceries behind. When I got home I used online interac to put money on my prepaid cell phone, and it went through fine.
I hate my bank. Ever since when I use my debit card I hold my breath.

The one time I had an issue with my debit card, I very calmly, quietly, and politely asked, "Alright, since you can't seem to resolve my issue, what is the procedure for cancelling my account, withdrawing all of my funds, and moving my pay over to competitor's name?".
I've never had a problem since.

I mean this honestly. It's like as soon as they step into the hotel they expect you to drop to one knee and pledge fealty to them.
I have news for you fuckers. I don't give a shit if you like your room or not. I don't give a shit what routine you enjoy following. You're not at home, and I can think of a million other things I'd like to do besides making you feel like you are. In case you want to get a feel for just how little i give a damn, I'd rather rim a corpse than take care of you. The best thing you can do is die in your room so I can get a little excitement out of sitting in my shitty office watching Comedy Central for eight hours a day.
PS-the TV doesn't work because you don't have the cable box on, twat.

*enters thread*
I live in an old hotel building, does that count? o.O
No, seriously, I understand what you mean :P People who think that the world is made just to please them SUCK! ASS!
We actually had a couple of these people walk into our school(it's a school and dorm now) and asked for a room.
Then we told them it was a school now. That did not keep their attention for long though as they started noting that instead of our current 7, there were 13 sea turtles last time they were there.
Well, some of them died, big deal, get over it and get out of our school!
This just goes to show that even though it is not a hotel, people still may think they own everything.
So I would say go with one of the above posters, piss in their shampoo and have your laughs :P
My sympathies to you :P I could not muster up the energy to seem to care.

Is this a free hotel? I mean don't these people pay for that service?
Because if they give you money for a service I guess they have the rights to complain if there's something wrong...

they have the right to complain that's true but some of them just do it for the sake of it.
they will fucking moan about everything just to get things for free.
Of course you can complain when something is wrong but the one who do it for the wrong reasons are just scum .

You could claim it was authentic roman shampoo, as the romans did use pee for shampoo.

Yeah but you don't have to be a cunt about it. That's just childish.
Let me give you an example: a woman came into the hotel, I checked her in, and ten minutes later she called me from the room positively SCREAMING that the lights wouldn't turn on and that the bathroom door was locked.
I went to the room to see what the trouble was, and wouldn't you know? She bitched at me the whole time I was checking things out, literally screaming. You wanna know what I found out?
The lights wouldn't turn on because she didn't fucking flip the ON switch.
The bathroom door WAS locked, but the bathroom light was on inside. She fucking accidentally locked it her own goddamn self and tried to pretend she didn't do it so I'd give her a free room. And she screamed at ME.
Everyone is always looking for something to bitch about or some way to get out of paying something because they're cheap, swindling, lying, power abusing bastards.
If me and that women were just two people walking down the street you bet your ass she wouldn't ever yell at me or be such an irrational bitch. But as soon as she's paying and I'm serving her, all manners go out the window because "the customer is always right".
Well guess what?
The customer's always an ASSHOLE.
