You're legal over there, but in the US age of consent is 18. Personally I don't get why we can drive before we can legally fuck but it is a pretty uptight country.

You have to be 16 to drive, 18 to fuck and 21 to drink, right?
In Denmark, you have to be 15 to fuck, 16 to drink(might be raised to 18) and 18 to drive. I believe that is a more natural development of interrest.
I know that I definately wanted to fuck before I wanted to drink or drive

Generally, in most states in the U.S., the age of consent for sex is 16. There are variables from state to state, but usually if one party is over the age of consent and the other party is at least 2 years younger and under the age of consent, there can be prosecution. THIS lays out the law by state as of 2003.
So if you're over 16, you can fuck but not vote, drink or sign a legal contract.
Well, the drinking thing has state by state variables too.

Basing laws solely on what people want and when they want it does not seem sound to me.
