No only is Humane smarter than Tam but he also has an actual sense of security and is CLEARLY void of dogma. And a sense of reality despite how it may seem in certain scenarios. He even corrects himself, too. It's too dam cute. Go HP.

Yeah, and a big part of modern Marxists have stopped being against religion, and as you mentioned, just try to fight the exploitative aspects of religion as a means of control. Similar to how the state is a tool of exploitation but not a source (as opposed to anarchist doctrine) religion is also a tool. From this, Latin America developed a movement called liberation theology.

I read something about that a while ago, it might even have been you who made me aware of it. And, I have to say, Latin American Socialists have put together the most realistic and beneficial plans for actual Socialist/Communist societies I've read about.
On a related note, what do you think of Hugo Chavez? I've heard a few different opinions on him, and I want a Latin American Socialist's opinion...
