I'll be the devil's advocate once again and fix the list .

Draconian (gothic metal) - Correct

Shade Empire (Black metal) - Symphonic/Industrial-ish with Black vocals (definitely not Black Metal)

Children of Bodom (Black Metal) - Power metal meets melodeath with a hybrid extreme vocals (hard to define - great liveband as well though!)

Satyricon (Black metal) - Yes, 10 years ago. Now they're pretty much a Heavy metal band with black vocals.

Well mostly everyone before me has said some of the best sites and a good list of bands. But here is my own list of some metal bands you might enjoy:
Trivium
Slipknot
Lamb of God
Chimaira
As blood runs black
Still remains
Third Moon
Children of Bodom
Norma Jean
