Aww, that really is too bad. That's one thing that I absolutely love about my job, we laugh all of the time. I work with people who are in the process of dying and they are the most amazingly humerous people ever. I actually got told a joke this morning...
"There was a priest who was tallking to one of his older parishiners. He said to her 'Joyce, at your age it is time that you need to start thinking about the here-after.'
Joyce looked at him and said 'But Father, I always think about the here-after. Whenever I walk into a room I say to myself.. 'now, what did I come in here after?''"
I know that it's a poor joke, but when you consider that it was told to me by a woman who has a brain tumour that is effecting her memory... the two of us were in hysterics.
I did some office work for a while and I used to amuse myself by getting to work before anyone else and leaving random items on people's desks... old shoes, stuffed toys, a tennis ball, an old broken Atari. It was brilliant to watch these people stare at these things like they were going to bite them if they touched it.

I'm thinking either a pair of Demonia or TUK. I rarely wear Docs anymore. I do have a blood red velvet pair of Docs, but I'd hate to get anything on them to mark the velvet.

Ah, you like the new style. Yes, I've seen some of the Demonia. They're good too.

It's also good to see you have a caution with the action after shoving a velvet boot up someone's arse

HAHA! You made me laugh again!
My job involves keeping the databases of large corporations up and working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They consider it unacceptable if the databases are down five minutes a year, because that five minutes can cost them a million dollars in lost revenue, so it is extremely high pressure.
I am glad you have the kind of job you do, the world needs more people like you, who actually help real people you can see and touch.
My work just keeps the faceless beehive running.

But people like me can work in the jobs that we do because people like you do your job. If it wasn't for people like you then banks and companies that I personally as well as the hospital I work for would grind to a hault, which in the end would mean that they people who I care for wouldn't be able to get the care that they need.
At the end of the day, you are caring for Joyce with the brain tumour and Alfred with the Airways Disease as much as I am. It's just that you don't get to share the box of chocolates that the family usually send us when the patient passes on.
So, thankyou for the work that you do to help these people remain comfortable in their last moments, Humanepain.

inconsiderateness is yet but a grain sand in the the foundation on which slavery was build but continuously feeding these desires which start to rise darkness in the faces of loved ones and friend as you see thoughts which where once there then with-in a blink of a eye gone yet replaced with the interpretation of a decaying demons fraily vision on what his perverted mind says you should have said or done while this hidden circle of energy now coming to light who, (who: used relatively to represent a specified antecedent, the antecedent being a person or sometimes an animal or personified thing.) has sat feeding on you sinces birth throwing emoition to you and through you while ****** you of lessions lerent past and present draws you deeper and deeper into its hole untill you are no-longer you and now dependent on learning dark demonic trates just to sustain a conversation with in your every day life stuck yet unconcerned about the cycle you are now and many eternaly be in, one of malevolence towards all spiritally for now you are that demon the succubus feeding, on your way to being a master builder for a incubi in now what you desire in that space where once a heart did sleep.

Hello Deep Insight. I'm new - and Australian as well. Didn't know Melbourne had a depressing scene, although I've only been there twice and for brief periods of time.
Also, grammar really helps on forums and whenever you try to communicate with people through verse or prose. Embrace it.

Deep Insight, I don't know exactly why, but I'm compelled to snog you. I do hope you're not offended.
