Actually, it now seems pretty funny. All their stage shows are the same, to the point of hiring someone to get their head partially shaved on stage and yelling "I'm keeping it!"
And kicking their guitarist while he's down. Every. Single. Show.
On the other hand, the music isn't formulaic, but the strange, yet commercially accessible sound is gimmick enough as it is.
