i may not talk like a goth and i dont have to like goth music to be a goth but no one tells me im not a goth. and bad grammer was becuse i was busy as fuck geting emails left right and center so talk to someone els if you hate my busy grammer so much and I WILL NOT LOG IN IF IM BUSY .O.K!

I think the term is Goff.

Someone who listens to commercial 'alternative' rock, wears baggy pants, and wouldn't be able to name a real Goth band if you beat them with a wet Zombie.

As opposed to Goth.

Someone who listens to darker streams of Punk and Post-Punk, wears what they want, but probably looks a bit like a wet Zombie.

hello im this goths mum and im shocked at your responses or why ud bother to reply when your so upset maybe there are emos here pretending to be goths cause your all so emotional. Relax and observe why be so upset.
observing as a hawk flowing observingly as nature does would help cause your all missing the point shes young and not up to date.
I was an original goth im 40 so i grew up with hippies in london punks, rocker billies, skinheads and people who liked reggae i was into so much music but the music that fitted my mood was siouxsie sioux toyah so much then bauhaus and then i found parties and then a mum. If my kids are ignorant to the music its my fault im a musician so they are not always able to get to the computer and check it all out. To be honest why bother when u got it around u funny i checked it out and most of the sounds we like are alternative rock like my music that means it cannot be catergorized and could apeal even to goths culture . When karina was writing she had her little sister whos 5 hassling her brother who i beleive youve met the joker drives us nuts but his hearts in the right place and sarah so she had it full on when she was writing and u picked on her spelling but cool we r on it now and i promis i will try not to drop my essss or endings and abbreviate cause i text alot and go on msn its a fun habit but yes even my mates pull me up they say they just want a relaxed read and i do understand.

See we know lots of people and lots of fashions and gothic style was what karina was getting into and i said funny your into what i was into and i thought bout it cause i was a mum and had no goth stuff and saw that my views opinions attitude and earlier sounds things like paint it black rolling stones not everything just some things the doors siouxsie and the banshees early stuff had been her influence so i went out to second hand shop and im back gothic annette (bumblefreely) and here we are in a new world. I see gothic music as coming from the dark side of ourselves u know abuse hurt seeing through the crxp the side that is hidden from us but is us so we are not qafraid to dance in the moonlight or stand in the shadows . me i may be a bit different cause i was abused badly and i come from a very dark side so much anger but through it all i could love and still do so i help people who sometimes want a helping hand to lead them through the first steps of stepping into the light from the dark. shame guilt Toxic Shame the things people dont mention the dark side that the use to destroy these are the things i come from so one day someone labelled me gothic scarey i had responsibility people looked towards me saw my journey and held a hand towards me i was a goth someone could see i had thought and experienced a path a hard path an unspoken path the path from the dark side from pain hurt neglect shame guilt and funny how there are people who put these feelings in their music . so maybe placebo is not gothic sounds i beleive alternative rock again but have you listened to some of his sounds they are to the dark side and good on karina if she understands that or maybe not maybe shes on her path and she is needings hands to guide her. I mean mums can only do so much so did she see goths have had a path and did she reach her hand to you. well wheres that leave you all well i say dont feel bad learn from it your young but you can read between the lines, and please forgive her brother whos ways of dealing with stuff is very attacking and agrevating but he cares for her and good for him to be a young man and stand up for her its not easy is it same as its not easy to be nice and patient if your moving fast wanting and criticle. and im sorry for spelling mistakes but hay im a goth and we r not perfect. i thought us goths were not just bout musiuc but bout being us fashion music earth energies so much.and have you realised theres a new goth explosion coming about and it is a lot more in the moment and able to cope not hidden behind fears so much. annette keep cool but dont freeze
