In my opinion, this person didn't feel like taking the time to actually look through the entire website and actually read some of the things on it. Someone already posted a disclaimer that's probably from that site. It's kind of called a sense of humor, and if somebody doesn't have that, they can go kill themselves.

I have a sense of humor and I just checked out that website. I don't take jokes lightly with my religion: Satanism. I'm an actual Satanist. Not those creep-o's that go out and kill animals and drink their blood and shit like that. That's really not what it's about. And we don't even actually worship Satan, thanks.

If they think rallying a group of people to stand up against a bunch of people over a joke, there's clearly something wrong with you. They need to learn how to get their mind out of the twisted gutter of fantasy and learn what being Goth is about.

Even if the site was real, why would people want to waste their time and energy of fighting as something as worthless like that? It's like pushing a wall, basically.

Well, they are talking about colobine, which I believe is a misspelling of "Columbo." If you remember the TV series, he was capable of quite a lot.

all im trying to say is that that site is ralling ppl to hate us, nothing more, our kind is being blamed for things that have nothing to do with us, solely for the purpus that we don't argue the obvious. sites like those give us a bad name and its getting worse by the second, the only reason i put this thread up cuz im getting very tired of ppl putting me through hell, every time i walk at night i get pulled over by cops and serched. im tired of ppl throwing shit at me when they drive by, and if i fight back im considerd as "in leauge with colombine" being goth i expect that all of you go through the same... i apologise for my rude behavior, i was very heated by the subject... but we must figure out how to make the world understand that we arn't going around hurting ppl or "sucking their blood" (even tho some of us really want to lol)
you have got to believe me when i say that ppl are taking steps to take away what makes us unique.... already in my town i am automatically not allowed to own a firearm as long as i wear a long coat. normally i wouldn't care, but when they took my collection of knives and swords cuz it was a "hazard to people around me" was when i decided to try to make a stand.... as my fellow goths you would understand my frustration.... and god hates goths is one of the many sites that is fueling them....it may be a "joke site" but it is still slander towards you and you lifestyle.... plz forgive me when i say i fail to see the joke in it. anyway thank you all for reading my thread and again i apologise for my behavior

You know it does make me really sad that there are sites out there, parody, satire, or otherwise that are anti-goth. But spam campaigns and threats and so on are not the way to get back at the narrow minded people that are behind the campaigns. The best way to combat it is to show that we are decent people through social action, acts of love and by not rising to the threat. I'm trying to change opinions on several fronts. Firstly through Goth Help Us and the work we do. And secondly on a personal level I'm a Christian Goth trying to change opinions from inside the church.
