This is also an important step in your growth, much like the one I stated before. This, however, is the first of what will likely be many instances that aims to prove that you don't know shit about love.

But you might grow out of it.

A few weeks ago, I finally plucked the courage to tell the guy I like (argh, obsess over) how I felt, and you know what he said?

"Yeah, I know. (Name of friend) told me."

*bangs head against wall*

Aww, come on man. It sucks that it didn't work out, but guess what? There are always other girls. Many of them won't be as good, but many will be, if not better. 'Tis a little like rugby; you'll be running around and someone will grind you into the dirt, but you gotta get up, wipe off the blood, and get back in the game. [/shitty analogy]

My condolances and best of luck.

I don't think there is any point, I mean, I don't think that there is a very big chance of a couple of teens falling in love just yet. I don't really think 13 year olds like myself really know what love is yet.

Last time I played rugby which was last week, I almost broke my leg...are you saying love is like having your legs broken?

It can be. Like having your legs broken, it can seriously suck. But think about the feeling of carrying the ball over the try-line. Maybe you even get the winning try. You feel on top of the world. So in that sense love IS a little like rugby. It can be excruciatingly painful or can be the greatest feeling in the world.

*Sigh*, as much as it's valid, I keep wondering how I came up with such a lame/cheesy/whatever analogy.

Reminds me of a poem my friend wrote, it was all flowery and typical love poem stuff, and then in the middle of it shouts "Love is like throwing yourself on a live grenade"

and then he walked off stage.
