Tom Waits is a genius. His older, bluesy stuff is good, but I prefer his more modern experimental madness.

I was going to go see Wristcutters because Waits is in it, but it was only in the local independent theater for a week. I missed it by one day.

I have to agree on the Tom Waits. The man is a musical genius and his voice is absolutely stunning.

I also enjoy the blues-rock of White Stripes. Not to fond of her, but he amazes me musically. Lyrically he's still fun, but not as good as his playing.

Lately, Miles Davis and John Coltrane have been getting some rotation as well. I've found that jazz is fairly relaxing.
